| Abstract: | Patron driven(also referred as Demand-driven) acquisitions,short for PDA or DDA,quickly become the popular method of library collection development,especially for electronic books in research libraries of U.S.A.This article briefly describes the issues that involved in library collection development in the past,and social and technology environment that support PDA development.Author also touches on new workflow and issues associated with PDA implementation. |
