| Abstract: | In this paper, the author discusses the following five problems: 1) library can be a research object of a discipline; 2) a social institution can be used to nominate a discipline; 3) library science is a large group of disciplines; 4) library science is improbably to be merged into other disciplines; 5) library science does not need any packaging of imagination and beautification.The author also thinks that some viewpoints about objects of library science are to be reconsidered. |
