A comprehensive analysis of Germany's chemical periodicals included in the databases of the two leading international information-analytical systems Scopus and Web of Science, a bibliographic database Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, as well as in the database of All-Russia Institute for Scientific and Technical Information of Russian Academy of Sciences (VINITI RAS), was performed. An analytical procedure developed made it possible to analyze effectively different domains of publications, both common to the three databases, as well as various combinations of interest, inter alia an array which was not included in any of them. The data covering the ratings of periodicals were presented basing on generally accepted international scientometric indicators and on processing degree value for the VINITI database. Distribution of subject areas, publishing houses, language of editions, internet access availability were determined. The research results allowed to summarize proposals for optimization of VINITI database workflow in the area studied.  相似文献

The activities of VINITI as a Key Organization of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) which is responsible for the interstate exchange of scientific and technical information are analyzed; major areas of the activities of the Key Organization are presented. One of the main priority areas is the participation, jointly with the National Centers for Scientific and Technological Information and the Interstate Coordination Council for Scientific and Technological Information, in the scientific information and analytical support of research activities and international programs and projects that are implemented by the CIS member states in the area of innovation.  相似文献

Although the USSR and the United States had a comparable number of employees in the field of scientific information, there was a substantial difference in funding, which resulted in a lack of information support for Soviet scientists. While 90% of the publications in the United States were available almost immediately after their release, in the USSR they were delayed by 1.5 to 2 years. Since the publication of the Abstracts Journal by VINITI (AJ), its content was consistently expanding and reached its peak in 1990 (1.5 million documents per year). The next quarter of a century was characterized by a decline in both the composition of the AJ and the time required for its document coverage. The steps for restructuring VINITI activities are discussed. The focus is made on improving the limited coverage of the Russian-language part of the global flow of scientific information by Western information systems.  相似文献

Solar cells of the third generation (after the bulk and thin-film ones that are mainly based on inorganic semiconductors, mostly of silicon) use the leading technologies of the 21st century, including nanotechnologies based on nanomaterials, mainly based on nano-structured or ultrafine inorganic semiconductors, graphene, fullerenes, as well as polymers and low-molecular-weight organic semiconductors. This paper compares the results of an analysis of publications on solar cells, mainly nanostructured and nanoscale cells, that are reflected in the RZh Fizika VINITI RAN and included in the Web of Science database.  相似文献

An overview of Russian and foreign resources on the topic of the field of webometric research is presented. The research material is data collected from Scopus (Elsevier), the Web of Science (Thomson Reuters), the Database of Computer Science (VINITI), and the Scientific Electronic Library (eLibrary). Based on analysis of these data, the primary directions of webometric research in libraries are identified and reviewed. A comparative analysis of the thematic scope of publications in the literature focusing on graphene in the period between 2010 and the first half of 2011 is conducted. The development patterns for physics of graphene are highlighted. Hotspots and emerging trends are outlined in this area, based on the analysis of publications in volumes 1–12 of the 2010 edition and volumes 1–6 of the 2011 edition of the peer-reviewed journal The Physics of Nanoobjects and Nanotechnologies published by the All Union Institute for Scientific and Technical Information of the Russian Academy of Sciences (VINITI RAS).  相似文献

Based on the analysis of a range of key publications in the area of nanoenergy, which, among other journals, were reflected in the Physics of Nanoobjects and Nanotechnology issue of the peer-reviewed journal that was published by the All-Russia Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of the Russian Academy of Sciences (VINITI RAS) in the 2000–2012 period, key areas of research in this field are analyzed from the perspective of physics. The citation indexes of the key publications, the geographic origins of their authors, and the demand for nanoenergy products are presented. This paper considers the problems of the information society in Russia and their interrelationships in solving the tasks of the innovation Strategy-2020 and in forming the innovation infrastructure and systems for the management of innovations. The urgency and necessity of using the intellectual resources of the VINITI RAS Databank, as well as the preparation of new analytical products in the Analysis of Innovations series are substantiated. The history of the establishment and development of the RAS VINITI AJ in mathematics from 1953 to 2007 is considered. Various classification systems are analyzed that were used in different periods of the creation of the AJ, as well as the subject indexes to the AJ. The structure of mathematical AJ problems is described. The results of an analysis of the international flow of periodical and proceedings publications in different priority areas (the nanosystem industry and materials, information-telecommunication systems, rational wildlife management, and power and power conservation) and of critical technologies entering into them are presented. As the main sources of the information on foreign and Russian databases (SCOPUS, Current Contents. CSA, Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory, RZH VINITI, and the Russian Academy of Sciences) open scientific Internet resources were used. For correctness, a separate preparation of the terminological base of each subject area was made. Lists of publications on the detailed publishing and data about the availability of access to them on various Internet platforms were compiled as a result. The characteristics of the most important electronic resources for each area are given. The publishing houses and companies responsible for the major publications on the considered subjects not accessible at present to the Russian scientific community through widely known consortia (NEIKON and the Russian Federal Property Fund) are revealed.  相似文献

The main factors that currently contribute to the increase of the vulnerability of computer information are considered. The dynamics of a number of promising scientific research areas in the field of information security (cryptography, computer steganography, and biometric information-protection systems) are analyzed based on Russian and foreign publications from VINITI databases over the past decade. Questions about the construction of linguistic tools of an integrated databank on geology on a unified basis considering the polydisciplinarity and comparison of generally adopted information retrieval languages are examined. A system model of thematic classification for the integration of heterogeneous geological information on the basis of research problems is offered. Using the example of the common rubricators at the bibliographic (VINITI rubricator of the Russian Academy of Sciences) and factographic levels (VSEGEI dictionaries) generalized models are presented, viz., the organization of a thematic polydisciplinary space, the integration of geoecological data, and the thematic classifications of radiogeological data, volcanic danger, and mineralogical-planetological subjects.  相似文献
