研究表明,在线学习投入是影响学习绩效的关键要素,开展在线学习投入研究可以为学习者提供针对性的教学干预和过程性的学习支持.研究通过对不同维度进行分析,构建了在线学习投入分析模型,并以中国大学MOOC"教育传播学"为例探究在线学习投入与学习绩效之间的关系.研究结果显示,在线学习投入中的认知投入、情感投入和社交投入与学习绩效呈显著正相关关系;在线学习普遍存在浅层的认知投入和无效的行为投入;积极的情感投入和社交投入能够有效提升学习绩效.  相似文献

教学交互是实现在线教与学再度整合的关键,也是影响学生在线学习投入的重要因素。作为同步课堂特殊交互方式之一的视频交互亦对教学交互和学生在线学习投入的关系产生重要影响。基于30所高校15441名研究生的调查数据,通过结构方程模型与分层回归模型,围绕在线课程教学交互与学习投入的关系展开分析。结果发现,在线课程生生交互、生师交互和内容交互能分别正向预测学生的在线学习行为投入、认知投入和情感投入;生生视频交互正向调节了教学交互与行为投入、认知投入以及情感投入的关系;而生师视频交互对教学交互与在线学习投入的关系无显著影响。在未来的在线教育过程中,可通过营造社会性交互环境、丰富交互内容、关注"触发性"交互事件、保障视频交互质量等方式促进学生在线课程的学习投入。  相似文献

以群体动力学理论为基础,以西部某新建师范院校在校本科生为研究对象,构建了在线学习投入对学习绩效的解释结构模型。研究表明:群体动力学理论的基本假设对开展在线学习行为研究具有一定的适用性和拓展性;大学生参加在线学习的内部动机越强,其情感投入、学习绩效越高;情感投入度越高,其行为投入、认知投入度越高;增强线上交互有助于强化情感投入;增强情感投入有助于强化内部动机对认知投入的影响和线上交互对行为投入的影响;增强认知投入和行为投入,有助于强化情感投入对学习绩效的影响。因此,高校应进一步规范课程引入、强化选课指导、优化学习空间,以增强大学生在线学习的内部动机,提升线上交互质量。  相似文献

批判性思维是21世纪人才的核心素养,对大学生的学习与发展具有重要作用。为探析大学生批判性思维、学习投入与学习收获之间的关系,文章通过问卷调查与分析发现:大学生批判性思维的整体水平良好,但求真性维度发展滞后;批判性思维的求知欲和系统性对学习收获具有显著的正向预测作用;学习投入的行为投入、认知投入和情感投入能够显著正向预测学习收获;学习投入在批判性思维与学习收获之间具有完全中介作用。根据结论,得到相关教育教学启示:加强求真精神培养,弥补大学生批判性思维发展短板;激发求知欲,渗透系统性思维,最大化提高大学生的学习收获;加强学习投入引导,着力提高大学生的学习收获。  相似文献

伴随在线学习的需要和对在线学习效果的研究,本研究基于预备—过程—结果的3P分析框架,对10所高校1496名大学生展开问卷调查,探索在线学习中大学生数字化学习能力、学习投入与学习效果之间的关系。研究发现,数字化学习能力和在线学习效果呈显著正相关;在不同学校类型和年级等个体特征上,大学生的数字化学习能力和学习效果存在显著性差异;数字化学习能力既能直接预测在线学习效果,还能通过学习投入间接影响在线学习效果。其中,在线学习投入的中介作用能够解释数字化学习能力和学习效果二者关系的57.18%。为此,建议从以下3方面采取措施提升在线学习效果:因材施教,培养学生的数字化学习能力;打造线上“金课”,促进优质资源融通共享;激发动机,提高学生在线学习投入。  相似文献

大学生学习投入对其学业成功具有重要作用,教学行为是影响学习投入的关键因素,但是针对混合教学环境下教师教学行为与大学生学习投入之间关系的研究较为缺乏。本研究通过创建混合教学下大学生学习投入调查问卷(BLSES)和教师教学行为调查问卷(BIPS),对600多名大学生在混合教学行为影响下的学习投入情况进行模型构建和实证分析。研究发现:(1)大学生学习投入在混合教学环境下可分为六个维度(主动学习、师生交互、小组协作、策略运用、自我管理、情感投入),教师教学行为可分为六个维度(设计组织教学、促进参与、直接指导、反馈评价、提供资源、情感支持)。(2)混合教学下大学生的学习投入处于中等水平,尤其是"师生交互"和"自我管理"维度需进一步提升;教学行为中"反馈评价"维度水平最低。(3)总体上,混合教学行为对大学生学习投入具有显著的正向作用,但具体维度的影响作用不同。其中,"设计组织教学"行为在预测大学生学习投入方面的效果最强,而"促进参与"和"反馈评价"次之。研究建议,教师在混合教学实践过程中应在"设计组织教学"方面实施有效的教学行为,这将有助于提升大学生的学习投入水平;教师需要重点完善"反馈评价"行为,改进学生的师生交互、小组协作水平,提高学生主动学习能力,全面提升大学生的学习投入水平。  相似文献

数学学习投入是指学生在数学学习过程中,采取深度学习策略和元认知策略,积极参与课内外数学学业活动,与他人结成深度交往关系,并伴随着积极的情感体验的一种学习活动。以"认知投入—情感投入—行为投入"结构为数学学习投入的测量框架,采取已有的成熟量表调查武汉市两所小学四、五年级共424名小学生的数学学习投入状况,研究发现:小学生数学学习投入总体状况较好,但在各维度和指标上的发展水平不均衡;数学学习行为投入得分最高,认知投入得分最低;性别和年级上差异显著,男生的数学学习投入度高于女生;家庭、学校、班级、教师、同伴等社会性因素影响小学生的数学学习投入水平。为此,学校、家长、教师应协作支持学生的数学学习,认识学习投入各维度和指标的重要性,消弭男女生数学学习的性别偏见、性别定势和班级差异,判定和反思小学生目前数学学习投入的类别,弥补学习投入类别的短板。  相似文献

本研究通过对中国北方某高校大学生进行问卷调查,采用结构方程模型考察了在线英语课堂情感投入对学生自主学习能力的影响。结果显示:1)在线英语课堂中大学生情感投入与自主学习能力均处于中等水平;2)情感投入与自主学习能力呈显著正相关;3)积极情绪与兴趣驱动直接正向预测自主学习能力,兴趣驱动通过积极情绪对自主学习能力产生间接预测,群体归属分别通过积极情绪与兴趣驱动间接预测自主学习能力;4)积极情绪、兴趣驱动和群体归属之间的互动是预测学生自主学习能力的默认模式。上述发现有助于深化对情感投入的研究,对自主学习能力的培养具有启发意义。  相似文献

课堂学习投入是大学生有效学习的关键因素,探究大学生课堂学习投入对优化大学生课堂学习实践具有重要意义。本文以英语课堂为例,以1162名非英语专业本科生为研究对象,建构大学生课堂学习投入多维评价框架,制定大学生课堂学习投入水平多维调查量表,并通过结构方程模型探索大学课堂学习投入各维度与学习成绩的关系。研究发现,大学生课堂学习总投入处于中等偏上水平,其中基于互动的情感投入、基于互动的行为投入、基于个体的行为投入处于较高水平,而基于互动的认知投入和基于个体的认知投入水平偏低;基于个人的认知投入和基于互动的情感投入能显著正向预测大学生的学习成绩。  相似文献

Abstract

We investigated relationships among expressed emotions, perceived motivation, perceived emotions, and three dependent variables (i.e., behavioral engagement, cognitive engagement, and student achievement) in the context of a blended online course. We defined “expressed emotions” as emotions detected by an affective computing tool in messages that students posted to online discussion forums in a blended undergraduate writing course. The results of two-step hierarchical multivariate regressions revealed that expressed emotions differentiated positive emotions from negative emotions better than perceived emotions did. Moreover, while no significant effect emerged for perceived motivation and perceived emotions, expressed fear was a significant predictor of student achievement (i.e., final score). Although affective computing is in its infancy, our findings suggest the potential use of expressed emotions for educational research and practice.  相似文献

While research on peer feedback in second language (L2) writing at university/college level has proliferated, scholars have conducted less research on peer feedback in L2 academic and scholarly writing. Drawing upon multiple sources of data including semi-structured interviews, stimulated recalls, online interviews via WeChat, first and revised drafts of master’s theses, peer written feedback, audio-recordings of oral peer feedback conferences and the finalised master’s theses, this case study examines how three master’s students affectively, behaviourally and cognitively engaged with peer feedback on drafts of their thesis in a Master of Education programme at a Macau university. The findings show that the relationship between sub-constructs within each dimension and the relationships between the three dimensions of student engagement were interconnected in a dynamic and complex way. While there were individual differences among the three students’ engagement, their affective engagement could promote or negatively influence their behavioural and cognitive engagement. This study builds our understanding of the multifaceted nature of master’s students’ engagement with peer feedback. It provides pedagogical implications about how peer feedback can enhance the quality of master’s students’ academic writing and sheds light on how to guide students to establish scholarly learning communities in higher education.  相似文献

Artificial intelligence tools for education (AIEd) have been used to automate the provision of learning support to mainstream learners. One of the most innovative approaches in this field is the use of data and machine learning for the detection of a student’s affective state, to move them out of negative states that inhibit learning, into positive states such as engagement. In spite of their obvious potential to provide the personalisation that would give extra support for learners with intellectual disabilities, little work on AIEd systems that utilise affect recognition currently addresses this group. Our system used multimodal sensor data and machine learning to first identify three affective states linked to learning (engagement, frustration, boredom) and second determine the presentation of learning content so that the learner is maintained in an optimal affective state and rate of learning is maximised. To evaluate this adaptive learning system, 67 participants aged between 6 and 18 years acting as their own control took part in a series of sessions using the system. Sessions alternated between using the system with both affect detection and learning achievement to drive the selection of learning content (intervention) and using learning achievement alone (control) to drive the selection of learning content. Lack of boredom was the state with the strongest link to achievement, with both frustration and engagement positively related to achievement. There was significantly more engagement and less boredom in intervention than control sessions, but no significant difference in achievement. These results suggest that engagement does increase when activities are tailored to the personal needs and emotional state of the learner and that the system was promoting affective states that in turn promote learning. However, longer exposure is necessary to determine the effect on learning.  相似文献

协作学习投入面临多维、动态数据采集与多元数据融合分析的挑战,而多模态交互分析能够提取并融合动态、多维度的投入信息,对表征协作学习交互过程具有重要价值。基于此,文章构建了基于多模态交互信息的协作学习投入分析指导框架,并从投入水平的整体性表征、投入状态的多维性分析和投入信息的时序性挖掘等角度,阐述了协作学习投入分析应考虑的关键问题。此外,文章还提出了包含多模态信息采集、多模态特征提取、多模态特征融合分析等三大模块构成的多模态交互信息分析路径。研究结论显示,多模态交互信息能实现对协作交互过程全方位、细粒度地记录,进而对小组协作学习投入的状态进行动态表征与持续分析。未来研究可能的方向在于基于智能语音处理技术的交互会话分析、基于仪表盘的投入信息可视化呈现以及基于智能代理的协作投入适应性支持。  相似文献

The aim of this study was to examine the associations between learning support, student engagement and academic achievement among adolescents. We also examined the extent to which affective, behavioural and cognitive engagement play a mediating role in students’ perceived learning support from parents, teachers and peers, and contribute to their academic achievement. Malaysian adolescents (aged 12–17 years, N = 2359) completed a self-administered questionnaire based on an adapted version of the Student Engagement And Learning Support Scale. Item and factor analyses were performed to ensure appropriate psychometric properties of the scales. Pearson correlation analysis identified the relationship between variables and structural equation modelling was conducted to identify the role of student engagement as a mediator between learning support and academic achievement. The study provides empirical support for the hypothesis that perceptions of learning support influence adolescents’ affective, behavioural and cognitive engagement in school in different ways, which in turn influences their academic achievement. Cognitive engagement seemed to be the best predictor of academic achievement and the strongest mediator for all three types of learning support. Behavioural engagement was negatively associated with academic achievement, and affective engagement did not have a direct relationship with academic achievement, although it contributed indirectly through cognitive and behavioural engagement. The results of this study provide a basis for policy makers to initiate prevention and intervention programs for increasing the quality of parent–child, teacher–student and peer–peer relationships which ultimately could lead to improved academic competence and outcomes.  相似文献

Science education reform efforts in the Unites States call for a dramatic shift in the way students are expected to engage with scientific concepts, core ideas, and practices in the classroom. This new vision of science learning demands a more complex conceptual understanding of student engagement and research models that capture both the multidimensionality and contextual specificity of student engagement in science. In a unique application of person‐oriented analysis of experience sampling data, we employ cluster analysis to identify six distinct momentary engagement profiles representing different combinations of the behavioral, cognitive, and affective dimensions of student engagement in high school science classrooms. Students spend a majority of their classroom time in one of several engagement profiles characterized by high engagement on one dimension, but low levels on the others. Students exhibited low engagement across all three dimensions of engagement in about 22% of our observations. Full engagement, or high levels across all three dimensions, is the least frequent profile, occurring in only 11% of the observations. Students’ momentary engagement profiles are related in meaningful ways to both the learning activity in which students are engaged and the types of choices they are afforded. Laboratory activities provided especially polarized engagement experiences, producing full engagement, universally low engagement, and pleasurable engagement in which students are affectively engaged but are not engaged cognitively or behaviorally. Student choice is generally associated with more optimal engagement profiles and the specific type of choice matters in important ways. Choices about how to frame the learning activity have the most positive effects relative to other types of choices, such as choosing whom to work with or how much time to take. Results are discussed in terms of implications for practice and the utility of the methodological approach for evaluating the complexities of student engagement in science classrooms. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. With the affordances of mobile devices and experience-sampling method, this study took a person-in-context research orientation and examined the interactive relationship between self-efficacy, contextual features, and behavioral and cognitive engagement in authentic mobile learning contexts. Participants include 52 college students in teacher education programs. They responded to experience-sampling surveys based on the study events that they planned for the two weeks prior to exams during the semester. Regression analysis revealed that students’ course-specific self-efficacy and characteristics of planned study events were significantly associated with students’ behavioral engagement related to how well students implemented their study plans. Hierarchical regression analysis also showed that contextual features of the study environment, including study location and reasons for studying, moderated the relationship between task-specific self-efficacy and cognitive engagement. The results highlight the critical roles of self-efficacy and contextual features in influencing engagement in authentic anywhere and anytime mobile learning. The affordances and hinderances of experience-sampling method and mobile technologies in supporting engagement research were discussed.  相似文献
