This paper explores the contribution of a physical learning space to student engagement in social work education. Drawing on a constructivist methodology, this paper examines the findings of a survey conducted with students and staff in a social work and human service programme about their experiences of a Social Work Studio learning space. The analysis identified that students and staff who used the Studio reported that students were emotionally, cognitively and behaviourally engaged in the space, which enriched their development as social work and human service practitioners. The researchers concluded that the Social Work Studio is a useful tool for enhancing social work student engagement and increasing their confidence to address the ‘real-life’ challenges they may face as social work practitioners. 相似文献

在市场经济条件下,社会政策在弱势儿童的社会保护中发挥着不可替代的独特作用。我国在相关社会政策建设方面取得的成就应当肯定,但就现实而言,此类社会政策尚存在体系不健全、城乡差别大、执行主体缺乏协调、与其他社会政策不配套等等缺陷。今后在相关社会政策的建设中,应当采取切实措施克服上述缺陷;同时探索建立政策实施中的统一协调(整合)机制与适合国情的实施模式,以强化相关社会政策的实施效果。 相似文献

"社会治理"已成为当下中国最引人注目的术语之一。然而,学术界对"社会治理"这一概念至今尚未形成一致的认识,已有的"政治动员论"、"合作治理论"、"实用主义治理观"三种代表性观点在内涵、外延、表述等方面均存在一定的局限性。从社会学的视角来看,社会治理是指政府、市场、社会组织、公民在形成合作性关系的基础上,运用法、理、情三种社会控制手段解决社会问题,以达到化解社会矛盾、实现社会公正、激发社会活力、促进社会和谐发展目的的一种协调性社会行动。这一界定的启迪意义在于:一是有助于科学区分社会管理与社会治理的异同;二是有助于正确处理政府与社会组织的关系;三是有助于在实践中建构一种科学的社会治理观。 相似文献

如何和陌生人交往交流,如何对待公共资源,这都需要遵循公德的伦理规范。公德含有积极性部分和消极性部分,积极性公德行为表现为积极参与公共事务、主动募捐、从事公益活动等,而消极性公德行为则体现为"不作为"的规范,遵守基本的公共秩序,不破坏公共财物,考虑他人的感受,具有底线层次的遵守。在公共领域或学校公共领域中,很多公德失范行为现象都违背了具有底线层次的公德伦理规范。因此,倡导消极性公德教育对一个人公德德性的提升、对社会正常秩序的运行,其作用不容小觑。 相似文献

具身认知是当前哲学认识论的实证转向以及第二代认知观兴起的背景下认知研究中最重要和最具代表性的研究方向之一。具身认知强调的是人的身体、动作与情境在整个认知过程中的关联性,具身社会认知是当下具身理论与社会认知研究相结合的产物。虽然具身社会认知研究的起步较晚,但却有着深刻的哲学与心理学思想渊源,存在主义、现象学、机能主义心理学等都是其理论基础。具身社会认知已经在实证领域内取得了较为丰富的研究成果,极大地拓展了具身社会领域的理论与实证依据,但想要获取更大的发展,还必须解决当前存在的诸如理论体系混乱、研究方法不足以及科学性欠缺等问题。 相似文献

社会比较是一种广泛存在的心理现象。社交网络为用户提供了更多样化的社会比较信息、更便捷的比较途径。与传统的社会比较相比,社交网络中的社会比较具有自发性、比较信息的两极化、比较对象的多样化等特征。现有研究发现了社交网络中社会比较对用户的消极影响与积极影响,探讨了与之相关的个体与文化因素。未来研究应更关注社交网络中的消极信息对用户的影响、重视用户的主体性及进一步深化社交网络中社会比较的个体差异与文化差异研究。 相似文献

Teaching and learning are fundamentally social enterprises. In attempting to understand, explain, and predict social behavior,
social psychologists have amassed scores of empirically grounded, fundamental principles. Yet, many such principles have yet
to be applied to classrooms despite the social nature of these settings. This article illustrates how infusing novel concepts
from social psychology into teachers’ repertoires holds untapped potential to improve their pedagogy, ability to motivate
students, and capacity to enrich students’ understanding of subject matter. This article first examines three domains of social
psychology—social cognition, influence/persuasion, and interpersonal relations—and illustrates how applications of principles
from each domain could benefit classrooms. Next, two exemplars are presented to demonstrate the efficacy of past interventions
that are rooted in social psychological principles. Finally, pathways through which teacher educators can introduce new social

In this article, we promote the use of controversial images to enhance the discussion of social justice issues in schools. Controversial images provide rich opportunities for students to question what is occurring currently in society as well as what has occurred in the past. We provide an example set of activities to be used in teacher education that can help future teachers explore engaging methods for teaching with controversial images, discuss tensions involved with the use of controversial images, and to develop connections between using controversial images and teaching for social justice. 相似文献

社会认同是社会学和心理学的一个重要研究领域。从纵向上分析,个体的社会认同主要由个体对某一社会群体及其价值观的认知度、理解度、归属感、支持度以及个体对该群体的责任等几个层次构成;从横向上分析,个体的社会认同经历了社会类化、社会比较和积极区分等过程。社会认同研究在很多领域取得了显著的成就,为探索不同社会背景下的社会认同及其有效建构路径提供了方法论、认识论的基础。在构建社会主义和谐社会的进程中,遵循"和而不同"的原则,辩证地运用社会认同理论的有关观点,可以为解决我国和谐社会构建中所出现的一些社会心理问题提供可资借鉴的思路。 相似文献

社会标签是社会、他人或社会组织给有关人员加上的一个身份证明,在儿童群体中以人缘的好坏来衡量。社会技能是个体经过学习获得的,从“同伴接纳”的角度分析,主要用于评定同伴接纳或者人际关系(如同伴社会测量地位)。幼儿社会技能是进入儿童群体的重要社会标签,社会技能的获得将促使幼儿良好的心理行为的发生。根据社会技能干预的理论,本文提出社会技能干预训练的方法,以帮助幼儿成功获得进入儿童群体的社会标签。 相似文献

Social work students have few guidelines to help them evaluate the implication of their posted information on Internet-based social networking sites (SNSs). There is a national trend among employers of human services to cross-check publicly available online information on applicants. Based on data from a survey of 105 baccalaureate and master's social work students at a Midwestern university, this study explored students' perspectives on problematic information on SNSs. The majority reported that they had posted information on SNSs that they would not want their prospective employers to cross-check. Students offered a wide range of opinions, attitudes, and characteristics that contribute to the assessment of the risks that information they post on SNSs pose for their profession. The purpose of this study is to stimulate a conversation among social work educators on how to inculcate awareness and training of students on the ethical implications of SNS participation and to discuss directions for future research. 相似文献
