关联理论是有关人类认知的重要理论,它对翻译实践的意义也逐渐引起了人们的关注。关联理论在理解原文和再现原文上都有很好的指导作用,可以用来解释、指导翻译活动。翻译本质上是一个译者在原语认知语境和译语认知语境之间寻求最佳关联性的过程。关联翻译的实质是要求译者应当尽量使原语作者的意图和译语读者的期待相吻合。本文试图通过等值理论与关联理论的兼容性,从关联理论的角度分析等值理论在翻译中的积极作用。 相似文献

关联理论认为翻译是一种明示—推理的交际行为。首先,原文作者把其交际意图明示给译者,由译者对其意图做出推理;其次,译者再通过译文将其明示给译语读者,由译语读者使用正确的语境假设对原文作者的交际意图做出正确推理,实现原文与译文的最佳关联,并取得足够的语境效果。而其对直接翻译的论述更是为异化翻译的运用提供了理论支持。但是,异化翻译的应用也要考虑到译语读者的认知环境,要有限度,这也是关联理论对异化翻译的约束力。因此,关联理论对异化翻译具有极强的解释力。 相似文献

王斌认为,关联理论解释的翻译现象就是同化翻译、可译性与重译。事实上,关联理论也可以解释异化翻译现象。翻译就是翻译作者的意图。根据原文作者的意图,译者可以作异化翻译。这样做虽然会增加译文读者的推理努力,但译文读者能获得更大的语境效果,从而也能保持最佳关联性的传递。根据认知语境的特点,必要时在译文中增加信息为译文读者营造一个关联语境,使译文读者获得与原文读者相近的语境推理前提。但过多的增加信息会增加推理努力且背离原文作者的意图。 相似文献

关联理论吸收当代语言学、认知科学、心理学以及行为科学的某些研究成果对语言交际作出解释。认为促使人类之间进行交际的核心大脑信息处理机制,是一种能够根据人们的行为进行推理的能力。从关联理论看,文学翻译本质上就是一种交际行为,译者在这双重交际中的职能就是挖掘出原文作者意图与译本读者期待视野的最佳关联,在使译文达到与原文的语境等效的同时,也要确保译本读者以最小的努力获得最佳的解读原文作家写作意图的语境效果。可见,关联理论对翻译的阐释内涵是"以人为本",这就要求译者应从原文的明示信息以及文本产生的历史语境中找到最佳关联性,为读者提供最佳的认知环境。可以说,好的译者还必须能使译文最大限度地与原文趋同,最大限度地再现原文的实质与风格。 相似文献

根据关联理论,翻译是一个认知推理的交际过程。这种交际是一种包括原文作者、译者和译文读者在内的三元关系。交际的成功与否取决于原作者的意图能否被译文读者所认识。因此译者的任务就是:力求在分析选择语境的过程中找到最佳关联,创造足够合适的关联效果,以使原文作者的意图与译文读者的企盼相吻合。因此,将关联理论引入翻译学研究将对翻译学科的研究有着巨大的启示作用。 相似文献
