The multi-taper spectrum (MTS) estimator enjoys a relatively low computational complexity and high estimation accuracy making it an attractive method for spectrum sensing in cognitive radio (CR) networks. However, it is difficult to guarantee both detection and false alarm probabilities when its design is based on fixed threshold, especially when the noise power fluctuates due to channel conditions. In this paper, a new adaptive threshold method to guarantee both detection and false alarm probabilities for MTS based spectrum sensing is proposed. By means of estimating noise power and signal power, the decision of adaptive threshold is able to adapt the noise fluctuation and achieve efficient trade-off between detection and false alarm probabilities. A closed form expression for the adaptive threshold is derived for both additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel and multipath fading channel. Several metrics are employed to compare the performance of the proposed adaptive threshold method with that of the fixed threshold methods such as: error decision probability, detection probability, false alarm probability and throughput. The obtained results show that the proposed method achieves better spectrum efficiency and high throughput in comparison with the conventional fixed and adaptive threshold methods presented in the literature. 相似文献

In this paper, we propose a novel approach for multilingual story link detection. Our approach utilized the distributional features of terms in timelines and multilingual spaces, together with selected types of named entities in order to get distinctive weights for terms that constitute linguistic representation of events. On timelines term significance is calculated by comparing term distribution of the documents on a day with that of the total document collection. Since two languages can provide more information than one language, term significance is measured on each language space, which is then used as a bridge between two languages on multilingual spaces. Evaluating the method on Korean and Japanese news articles, our method achieved 14.3% improvement for monolingual story pairs, and 16.7% improvement for multilingual story pairs. By measuring the space density, the proposed weighting components are verified with a high density of the intra-event stories and a low density of the inter-events stories. 针对船舶压载水携带微小生物导致物种入侵问题,国际海事组织(IMO)规定,可排放的压载水中10μm至50μm的可栓出存活生物的浓度应小于10cells/mL。常规显微镜检测方法要求生物量为10^6cells/mL较为适宜,生物量较低时需对微小生物扩增培养,耗时较长,满足不了快速检测的要求。针对低生物量检测问题,本研究采用自制硅铁复合絮凝剂,以人工培养的海洋微藻模拟船舶压载水中微小生物,对微藻进行絮凝富集和快速检测实验研究。研究结果表明,该絮凝剂具有良好的絮凝能力,对于细胞浓度分别为5.55×10^5cells/mL的异弯藻和1.99×10^6cells/mL的三角褐指藻,絮凝剂浓度分剐为0053μL/mL和0.027μL/mL时,絮凝效率都能达到91%以上;对藻细胞浓度低于10^6cells/mL系列浓度藻液的絮凝实验表明,该絮凝剂能实现对藻细胞浓度低于10cells/mL微藻的捕捉富集。该絮凝富集方法的使用。为船舶压载水中微小生物的快速检测提供了技术支持,在海洋入侵微小生物监测应用中具有一定可行性; 相似文献

This paper proposes an improved model based pipeline leak detection and localization method based on compressed sensing (CS) and event-triggered (ET) particle filter (ET-PF). First, the state space model of the pipeline system is established based on the characteristic line method. Then, the CS method is used to preprocess the sensor signals to recover the potentially lost leak information which is caused by the low sampling frequency of the industrial pipeline sensors, and an event based beetle antennae search (BAS) particle filter (BAS-PF) is proposed to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the pipeline state estimation. Finally, a pipeline leak detection and localization method is developed based on the proposed signal processing, and state estimation algorithms, as well as a pipeline partition strategy. Experiment results show that the proposed method can accurately detect and locate the leak of the pipeline system with a localization error of about 1.4%. 相似文献
