The thesis combines the theory of ecocriticism with romanticism to study Wordsworth’s romantic poetry from an ecological perspective as Wordsworth,the great“worshipper of nature”can also be called an ecological critic since many of his poems are focused on ecological themes and he expresses his passion on an ecological basis.
