作为一个自觉的文学流派 ,19世纪现实主义文学是否存在 ,这是近年来评论界争论的焦点。本文梳理了否认现实主义文学流派存在的新派理论观点 ,并以此为基础 ,从 19世纪社会变革而导致的一种哲学精神和人的观念变化的角度 ,粗略地推演了 19世纪现实主义文学的艺术特征 ,肯定了它作为继浪漫主义文学之后的西方文学主流的存在 ;并针对自然主义文学取代现实主义文学的观点 ,简单勾画了自然主义文学和现实主义文学的区别。 相似文献

本文对古罗马的文艺理论家兼诗人贺拉斯在西方文艺理论上的价值和贡献做了探讨,重新认识了他的历史地位。贺拉斯一贯被人们认为是古典主义的奠基者,笔者考证了现实主义文艺理论的源流,得出了贺拉斯是古典现实主义向近代现实主义过渡的桥梁和界碑。又从艺术本质论上,区分了现实主义和古典主义两个基本概念,说明了贺拉斯的思想是与古典主义大相径庭的。在对传统的认识上,贺的观点也是与古典主义背道而驰,但与现实主义恰是息息相关。在现实主义文艺理论的发展史上,他的《诗艺》和《上奥古斯都书》有许多真知灼见,起到了一定作用。理应是现实主义理论的奠基者。 相似文献

During interview with English majors, it was found that a majority of students expressed disappointment with their experience of English literature classes. Students' dislike of learning English literature appears to be the major problem of teaching English literature in China. Reader response approach is a good way to solve this problem. In this paper, I explain the rationale behind the reader response approach, such as its origin, definition, features, assumptions, and strategies. Then I illustrate how reader response approach works as a teaching strategy by presenting several teaching models.
