文献推荐服务已经成为数字图书馆的重要知识服务内容之一.本文引入自然语言处理中的文本倾向性分析技术,通过对引证文本的语句语义分析,把语句的语义结构转化为倾向性分析的二元或三元模型,得到引证文本对参考文献的主观评价信息.结合参考文献本身的正文中对其他文献的评论指数,给出了文献推荐度的计算方法,从而实现对文献集中文献的自动分析和推荐服务.实验表明基于文本倾向性分析的文献推荐服务是可以实现的,并具有较高的准确率.在实际应用中还需要扩大词语知识库的规模,并提高语句的语义结构分析、词语语义关系分析等方面的性能. 相似文献

The purpose of this article is to initiate an examination of foreign‐language radio and establish its place in broadcasting historiography of World War II. First, an outline will be drawn of the dangers foreign‐language radio posed to the United States, as articulated by the mainstream press, U.S. Government, and the dominant radio industry. Second, the actions of the Federal Communication Commission and Office of Censorship, and the subsequent response of the radio industry, will be analyzed in depth. Finally, the impact of wartime policies on foreign‐language programming will be considered, as well as suggestions for further research. 相似文献

Consider information retrieval systems that respond to a query (a natural language statement of a topic, an information need) with an ordered list of 1000 documents from the document collection. From the responses to queries that all express the same topic, one can discern how the words associated with a topic result in particular system behavior. From what is discerned from different topics, one can hypothesize abstract topic factors that influence system performance. An example of such a factor is the specificity of the topic's primary key word. This paper shows that statements about the effect of abstract topic factors on system performance can be supported empirically. A combination of statistical methods is applied to system responses from NIST's Text REtrieval Conference. We analyze each topic using a measure of irrelevant-document exclusion computed for each response and a measure of dissimilarity between relevant-document return orders computed for each pair of responses. We formulate topic factors through graphical comparison of measurements for different topics. Finally, we propose for each topic a four-dimensional summarization that we use to select topic comparisons likely to depict topic factors clearly. 相似文献

Powerless language influences how media consumers perceive the believability and trustworthiness of news sources. Past studies have suggested females use more powerless language, which can negatively influence credibility. However, previous research also suggests powerless language may be preferred in certain contexts. To investigate powerless language use in written health media, a content analysis investigated health-related articles in issues of 12 magazines between October 2008 and September 2009. Analysis compared differences in powerless language frequencies relative to three variables: biological sex of the author, biological sex of the audience, and the magazine's overall topic focus. Female authors and health-focused magazines used more powerless language than male authors and generic-focused magazines, and powerless language was more often directed towards a female audience than a male audience. 相似文献

The current study advances the literature on psychological reactance theory by examining the moderating role of message elaboration on the reactance process. Participants (N = 512) were randomly assigned to a message condition (freedom-threatening vs. non-freedom-threatening language) in a between-subjects quasi-experimental design. Message elaboration was not manipulated but rather varied naturally. Two topics were examined (energy conservation and organ donation). Results demonstrated that freedom-threatening language was positively associated with perceived freedom threat for both topics. No interaction effect of message elaboration and freedom-threatening language on perceived freedom threat was observed for either topic. Findings are discussed in terms of the theoretical and practical contributions of the current study. 相似文献
