文章基于自我决定理论、阅读投入理论和信息系统成功模型,构建高校图书馆有声阅读推广效果影响因素模型,并对该模型进行验证。结果表明,有声阅读推广效果的影响因素主要包括技术因素、心理因素和社交因素。其中,基本心理需要和有声阅读平台质量显著正向影响有声阅读投入;有声阅读投入和有声阅读平台质量显著正向影响有声阅读推广效果;有声阅读投入在有声阅读平台质量与有声阅读推广效果之间发挥部分中介作用。据此提出高校图书馆有声阅读推广效果提升策略。 相似文献

[目的/意义] 以大学生有声书用户群体为对象,探究其听书行为意向影响因素,与图书馆界引入有声书资源或听书服务的理论设想相呼应,为高校图书馆开展听书信息服务提供实证参考。[方法/过程] 在整合式技术接受模型(UTAUT模型)基础上,结合大学生群体与有声书资源的特征,尝试性地引入感知成本、感知娱乐以及个人创新性三个听书行为意向影响因素,构建大学生听书行为意向影响因素模型,并通过问卷法收集相关数据,对该模型进行实证检验与修正。[结果/结论] 绩效期望、社群影响、便利条件、感知成本与个人创新性对大学生的听书行为意向有显著影响;努力期望与感知娱乐性对大学生的听书行为意向的显著影响未得到验证,作为调节变量的学生类型的作用也并未得到验证。最后,在研究假设验证结果基础上,修正原有的大学生听书行为意向影响模型。 相似文献

This article reviews the literature concerning the use and perception of podcasts as an information resource within higher education and libraries. Three types of podcasts are defined: institutional podcasts, episodic podcasts, and audiobooks. All podcasts share common issues concerning discovery and access and digital curation. E-books and audiobooks are becoming increasingly popular in the United States. Unfortunately, the supply of digital titles does not meet the demand. Library patrons must frequently wait for weeks to receive popular e-books. We examined the issue of wait time for e-book and audiobook titles using three public library patron accounts to gather data consisting of the average daily number of wait spots for each title, and days until the title was available. Based on our observations, we propose the Waiting Reduction Rate (WRR) formula to determine the average number of wait spots per title as a metric to help determine a better holds-to-copy ratio for electronic materials and reduce patron wait time. 相似文献

Amazon and Audible are currently being investigated by anti-trust authorities in Europe. Competition complaints were made by the German Publishers and Booksellers Association on the grounds of abuse of dominant position and restrictive practices. The article presents the reasons behind these formal complaints and makes a critical assessment of the approach taken by the anti-trust authorities so far. The article examines academics attitude towards e-journal use. A well structured questionnaire was designed to elicit the opinions of the users. Responses were gathered from 542 faculty members of five universities. The results of the study showed that the characteristics that affect the choice of e-format over print in order of preference are ‘faster access’, ‘available from desktop’, ‘convenience’, ‘remote access’, ‘timeliness’, ‘available at all times’, ‘hyperlinks’, ‘multi-user access’, ‘currency of information’, ‘inclusion of audio–video material’, ‘interactivity’ and ‘animation of graphics’. The characteristics that affect the choice of print format over electronic in order of priority are ‘physical comfort’, ‘portability’, ‘ability to underline’, ‘familiarity with format’ and ‘ability to browse’. A majority of the teachers use e-journals for ‘research’, ‘teaching’, ‘writing reports’, ‘current awareness’, ‘background research’ and ‘internal/external presentations’. The problems faced in accessing e-journals are ‘access difficulties’, ‘discomfort of reading from computer screen’, ‘lack of IT knowledge/skill’, ‘information overload’ etc. A majority of the teachers want future e-journals to have features such as ‘full text index of every article’, ‘searching capability across a wide range of journal articles’, ‘searching capability within an article, display relationship between a wide range of works’ and ‘links to multimedia files’, etc. On the basis of the findings, some suggestions are made for maximizing the use of e-journals. 相似文献
