主要以问卷调查法和数理统计法为主,结合文献资料法和访谈法,围绕高校男女学生对健美操认识差异原因展开调查,改变以往调查研究方中男女分向研究,本文将男女生结合起来对比研究,侧重了解男女学生对健美操认识差异的原因。研究结果发现:运动量、就业能力需求、教学内容与健身意识、自信感存在不一致认同,教师教学态度影响学生学习态度。 相似文献

Learning motivation is regarded as the critical fact of affecting the learners’learning.This article focuses on the local normal colleges,which offer the abundant resource of teachers;guarantee the education rights of students’.This article is based on the related literature and the statistics offered by questionnaires and surveys.The participants were 80 Englisheducation majors from a local normal university in Beijing and the surveys choose randomly 6 of them to get the answer.Through these two ways,we’ve found that the main motivation type for English-education majors is instrumental motivation.Family background,society and teaching model may lead to this phenomenon.The findings suggest that teachers should guide students to utilize their learnt knowledge into use and opening a book saloon to increase their interest and understanding of teaching might be a good way to improve students’integrative motivation. 相似文献

In recent years there has been a spectacular increase in concern within society about problems of service and, in particular, that of university teaching. Teaching quality can be understood as a goal to be achieved in three nurtured phases: course planning; the adoption of a methodological approach; and the evaluation of the results. The teaching of statistics in engineering schools raises common problems as well as certain others specific to each qualification. 教师使用学生喜好的教学方法有利于培养学生对科学课程和科学积极的情感,本研究调查了1 334名(男生679名,女生655名)初中学生,在目前物理、化学课堂中23种教学活动使用的频数,以及他们希望其使用的频数。调查数据用描述性统计和非参数检验分析,结果显示:现代教学方法和传统教学法均受到学生的肯定;学生强烈希望开展参观工厂、博物馆等教学活动;学生个体差异影响其对教学方法的喜好;女学生更喜欢听教师讲解和看教师演示实验;成绩好的学生更喜欢小组课题研究、小组讨论等。调查结果对教师理解学生和选择教学方法有启示作用。 相似文献

Real-world data are fundamental to modern teaching methodologies that aim to improve statistical knowledge and reasoning in students. Statistical information is encountered in everyday life, such as media articles and involves real-world contexts. However, information could be biased or (mis)represented and students should be concerned about the validity of such articles, as well as the nature and trustworthiness of the evidence presented, while considering alternative interpretations of the findings conveyed to them. Statistics educators could make use of media articles to create opportunities for students to reflect on such (mis)representations and build statistical literacy. The purpose of this article is to show how information and data on the Omicron COVID-19 variant have been (mis)represented in the media and by government entities. I also demonstrate how these examples may be utilized in the statistics classroom as they relate to concepts covered in most basic statistics courses. 相似文献

Water quality experiments, especially the use of macroinvertebrates as indicators of water quality, offer an ideal context for connecting statistics and science. In the STAR program for secondary students and teachers, water quality experiments were also used as a context for teaching statistics. This article reports on a mixed-method inquiry into pre-service and in-service secondary school teachers’ knowledge about Attention-deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and attitudes toward students with this disorder in Hong Kong. The inquiry revealed no differences between pre-service and in-service secondary school teachers concerning their knowledge of ADHD and attitudes toward students with ADHD. It also identified possible sources of participants’ knowledge and a variety of factors underlying their attitudes toward students with ADHD including sociocultural beliefs and working conditions. The findings call for teacher educators to develop better education programmes to support both pre-service and in-service teachers in undertaking the challenging task of teaching students with ADHD. 相似文献

This article demonstrates an active learning technique for teaching the Central Limit Theorem (CLT) in an introductory undergraduate business statistics class. Groups of students carry out one of two experiments in the lab, tossing a die in sets of 5 rolls or tossing a die in sets of 10 rolls. They are asked to calculate the sample average of each experiment. An easy‐to‐use Excel template is designed to calculate the averages from the students' dice rolls. Empirical histograms are generated dynamically for both sample sizes of 5 and 10 rolls, visually demonstrating the convergence toward a bell‐shaped distribution for the sample means. Our classroom experiences with the learning approach show that most students view it as fun and valuable to their learning of the concepts underlying the CLT. 相似文献

Gaze data are still uncommon in statistics education despite their promise. Gaze data provide teachers and researchers with a new window into complex cognitive processes. This article discusses how gaze data can inform and be used by teachers both for their own teaching practice and with students. With our own eye-tracking research as an example, background information on eye-tracking and possible applications of eye-tracking in statistics education is provided. Teachers indicated that our eye-tracking research created awareness of the difficulties students have when interpreting histograms. Gaze data showed details of students' strategies that neither teachers nor students were aware of. With this discussion paper, we hope to contribute to the future usage and implementation of gaze data in statistics education by teachers, researchers, educational and textbook designers, and students. 相似文献

传统的课程教学评价指标忽略了学生考试成绩也能在一定程度上客观反映教师的教学水平,特别是同类课程不同教师的教学效果,由此,文章提出了一个结合学生考试统计数据的新的课程教学评价指标体系和指标计算方法,并以该指标体系为核心,利用计算机技术、网络技术和数据库技术,开发了一个基于浏览器/服务器体系结构的课程教学评价系统,该系统的功能主要由三部分构成：通过网络实现学生对教师课程教学的评价及数据收集;通过网络实现对学生的在线考试及相关数据的统计;最后,将两者结合实现课程教学的综合评价。从实际运行比较结果来看,该评价系统能够对于任课教师的课程教学质量给出合理的评价结果。 相似文献
