运用内容分析法对《数学教育学报》(2011—2015)刊载的研究性论文的研究方法从5个维度进行了系统的量化分析。研究发现:中国数学教育研究最常用的研究方法是理论思辨、统计调查和内容分析,叙事研究、田野调查等质性研究方法较为罕见;实证研究正逐渐成为中国数学教育研究的主流,然而实证研究以量化研究为主,质性研究和混合研究较少;使用数学方法研究数学教育已经成为人们的共识,但使用的数学方法主要是简单统计;描述型研究在中国数学教育研究中占有绝对的主导地位,关联型研究和干预型研究严重不足。最后,针对中国数学教育研究方法中存在的问题提出了若干建议。  相似文献

This paper discusses the importance of research activity in academic teachers' colleges in Israel and analyses how this activity is organised. It investigates the contribution of research to development of professional staff and the state of research activities at teacher training colleges. Major obstacles impeding research at the colleges are pointed out and conditions affecting research performance are indicated. The character of the actual research activity is analysed and five different models are specified. The paper focuses on the research committees and research units, which are the central organisational tools for research development, by analysing and describing the range of research culture in the colleges: from absent to optimal. The paper contributes a theoretical and an applied framework that may support the further development of research at the colleges.  相似文献

In this article, a major review of recent researches and developmental studies in chemical education is presented. The review summarizes and evaluates some 250 different articles and papers published mainly during the period 1975‐77, under the following headings: general research in chemical education, content‐oriented research, research into methods of chemical education, teaching aids and the use of educational technology, research in assessment and evaluation. Trends existing in the various research areas are identified, and future research needs and priorities suggested.  相似文献

The development of cultures of support has become important in programmes for the preparation of research students. The paper draws on in-depth interviews with 21 research education coordinators from Australian and UK institutions to identify the strategies that they use to build research cultures and integrate research students into them. Students’ research cultures are not always linked to departmental research cultures more generally. Local contexts and conditions and staff (including supervisors’) attitudes are found to be critical in how research education coordinators respond and what is considered possible in order to ensure that research students are involved in research cultures.  相似文献

生成性教学研究是近年来我国学者关注的一个热点领域。诸多学者围绕其提出背景、内涵、特征、价值等方面开展了逐步深入的探讨。通过对上述成果的梳理发现,已有研究中存在着诸如理论基础研究浅表化,对生成性的本质认识不清晰,研究中"大破大立"倾向明显,以及研究方法较为单一等不足。进一步的研究亟待从基本概念澄清、研究视角拓展与研究方法多元等层面加以完善。  相似文献

本文描述了广东省高职院校科研工作的现状:开展科研工作的高职院校数量少,投入的科研和教学人员数量不足,拥有的科研经费总量少,已开展科研工作的高职院校间科研实力差距较大。分析了存在的问题:建校时间短,建设任务重;科研能力弱,技术开发基础薄;教学任务繁重,科研意识不强;重视建设实训室,轻视建立公共技术平台和科技实验场所;课题档次低,成果类型少、质量差;科研管理不力,科研方向不明确。提出了今后的发展对策:争取政府支持,培育技术创新基础;强化科研意识,营造技术创新的良好环境;建立制度规范,激励与约束并重;确立发展特色,有选择地追求卓越;建立专职科研管理机构,形成畅通的沟通管道和严密的管理机制。  相似文献

Relationships Between Teaching and Research in Higher Education in England   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Although there is a popular conception that research enhances teaching, evidence of such synergistic relationships is inconclusive. Recent research, undertaken as part of the Higher Education Funding Council for England's (HEFCE) fundamental review of research policy and funding, indicated that there are a range of relationships – both positive and negative – between teaching and research. While the ideal relationship might be perceived by many academics to be a positive one, there are a number of factors that shape the ways in which teaching and research can have a negative influence on each other, or even be driven apart. These factors include pressures to compartmentalize teaching and research through accountability and funding mechanisms, management strategies of academic staff time that treat teaching and research separately, and the competition for scarce resources. If teaching and research are to complement each other, new ways of managing the teaching and research relationship need to be considered.  相似文献

Methodological rigor in intervention research is important for documenting evidence‐based practices and has been a recent focus in legislation, including the No Child Left Behind Act. The current study examined the methodological rigor of intervention research in four school psychology journals since the 1960s. Intervention research has increased in prevalence, but it does not seem to have become more rigorous since the establishment of the What Works Clearinghouse. Small methodological factors often determined whether a study met or did not meet standards in the current investigation. Implications include the necessity of reviewing research quality guidelines prior to conducting intervention research and ensuring they are met whenever possible.  相似文献

后现代主义以研究语境、研究文本、研究方法三种形式呈现在我国的教育研究中,这种景观的存在既与教育理论的尴尬处境相连,也与我国呈现的一些后现代征象相关。在后现代主义视野下,我国教育理论研究的标准、对象、方法等都被置换到一个新的参照系框架下。后现代主义理论在我国缺少生成的土壤。教育理论界应采取辩证唯物主义态度对我国教育研究中的后现代主义持谨慎态度。  相似文献

由于"后发劣势",我国的公民教育存在着研究方法上的单一化以及研究成果的浅表化现象,而全球化时代的到来使得公民教育研究有可能跳出原有的狭隘视野。从本土化、规范化、国际化三个维度的视域,可以把握我国公民教育在全球化视野下的研究进路。所谓本土化,即研究的意识要彰显本土,研究的对象要立足本土,研究的旨趣要服务本土;所谓规范化,即在本土化的公民教育研究中,要强化研究的形式规范、内容规范和方法规范,便于学者之间的对话与交流;所谓国际化,即以国际通行的尺度来考量我国公民教育研究的本土化是否合格,规范化是否有价值,为我国公民教育的研究成果最终走向世界奠定坚实的基础。  相似文献

尊重和适应国际视野下对大学实践教育的关注,借鉴国内外研究型大学对本科生科研的探索与实践经验,基于教师专业发展对培养研究型、反思型教师的时代需求和对我国传统教师教育中现实问题的反思,首都师范大学初等教育学院进行了小学教育专业本科生科研实践活动的探索。我们认为,本科生科研实践活动与一般科研实践活动存在区别,小学教育专业本科生科研实践应具有自己的专业特点。我们的实践也表明,本科生科研实践活动在培养大学生科研素质、职后专业化发展,促进高师教师科研水平及教学科研相结合等方面具有重要作用。  相似文献

The paper examines an action research project, the Primary Education Project (PREP), located in African primary schools in Cape Town, South Africa between 1987 and 1989. The main aim of PREP was to evaluate action research as a means of improving educational processes and outcomes. Drawing on my own action research case study as the facilitator of curriculum and research development in PREP, I explore action research as a strategy for teachers' professional development. This latter concept is problematised as meaning on the one hand, narrow vocational skilling of teachers, and on the other, reflective practice. Further, I argue that the concept is value-laden and thus fundamentally political. Improvements in teachers' practice are recounted, and the teachers' first order action research and my own second order action research evaluated along a continuum from reflection to research.  相似文献

This article discusses the relation between narrating a story and experiencing a learning process—for both the research subjects and the researcher—as an inherent feature of narrative biographical research. It is argued that in order to do justice to the particularity, the interpretation and the agency of the research subjects and thus to the revelatory character and transformative power of their life story, the researcher has to be personally and critically engaged in the research process. Besides acknowledging the learning process of the research subjects, it is necessary to reflect on the research process itself in terms of a narrative and a learning process. Radically living up to the starting points of narrative biographical research implies consequences for the position of the researcher in the research process, for the research results and for the research report.  相似文献

During the 1980's, there has been considerable concentration of research resources into Centres of Excellence within higher education, in the belief that greater research output per capita would result. This article tests this belief for Australian university-based research centres in economics, recognizing that the conclusions may not be applicable to other disciplines.Using a method which assigns points to publications according to the quality of the journal in which they appear, the research output of staff in six research centres was compared with that of lecturers in teaching departments of economics. Research centre staff were estimated to have 75 per cent greater time per head to carry out research. For the period 1974–78 and 1979–83 respectively, research output per capita in the research centres was 75 and 59 per cent greater than that of teaching departments. When time is taken into account, then, the evidence does not support the belief that research centres in economics are more productive. In the Australian context, it may be noted, there is little qualitative difference in the research produced by research centres and that of teaching departments.  相似文献

This paper aims to address conceptual and methodological challenges of doing research in the field of inclusive education and revisit school effectiveness research literature to inform future research. First, we present the rationale for inclusive education and briefly review the evolution of special needs education. Then, we discuss limitations of current research on inclusive education. Next, we present school- and classroom-level findings of school effectiveness research to highlight how it can influence the inclusive education research agenda.
