互联网应用终端正从PC端转向移动端,移动优先成为互联网产品设计与开发的准则。现有可视化系统应用终端多依赖于计算机操作系统以及插件,难以实现大数据跨平台、跨终端的移动可视化应用。分析了大数据处理、可视化算法及库、浏览器、触摸交互和响应式设计5大移动可视化关键技术及挑战,基于大数据处理技术和HTML5标准提出了移动可视化系统架构,实现了大数据挖掘和交互式可视化应用,可为可视化、数据分析、数据挖掘、数字媒体生产提供借鉴参考。  相似文献

在地学研究更加趋向定量化以来,各种新技术获得的数据量正以几何倍数增长,产生的数据逐渐由GB向TB级发展.如何可视化海量数据全局细节变化,渐渐发展成为一项新的研究领域,即海量数据处理与可视化.而目前基于海量数据最有效的可视化解决方案,主要思路是应用并行计算机集群处理技术和直接基于硬件GPU加速的可视化方法.提出了一种解决海量三维数据体绘制的并行方法及实现,并以三维地震勘探中反射地震剖面数据体为实例,讨论了数据预处理方法和分析了体绘制效果,完成了可视化实例测试.  相似文献

Recent increased interest in computational thinking poses an important question to researchers: What are the best ways to teach fundamental computing concepts to students? Visualization is suggested as one way of supporting student learning. This mixed-method study aimed to (i) examine the effect of instruction in which students constructed visualizations on students’ programming achievement and students’ attitudes toward computer programming, and (ii) explore how this kind of instruction supports students’ learning according to their self-reported experiences in the course. The study was conducted with 58 pre-service teachers who were enrolled in their second programming class. They expect to teach information technology and computing-related courses at the primary and secondary levels. An embedded experimental model was utilized as a research design. Students in the experimental group were given instruction that required students to construct visualizations related to sorting, whereas students in the control group viewed pre-made visualizations. After the instructional intervention, eight students from each group were selected for semi-structured interviews. The results showed that the intervention based on visualization construction resulted in significantly better acquisition of sorting concepts. However, there was no significant difference between the groups with respect to students’ attitudes toward computer programming. Qualitative data analysis indicated that students in the experimental group constructed necessary abstractions through their engagement in visualization construction activities. The authors of this study argue that the students’ active engagement in the visualization construction activities explains only one side of students’ success. The other side can be explained through the instructional approach, constructionism in this case, used to design instruction. The conclusions and implications of this study can be used by researchers and instructors dealing with computational thinking.  相似文献

Computer-based learning covers a broad spectrum of activities in the area of learning and leaching. Computer assisted instruction, computer assisted learning, static book emulation, dynamic book emulation, tutorial programs and algorithm animation are types of software already in use in some of the higher education institutions, polytechnics and universities. More recently, as a result of extensive advances made in the area of computer graphics, programs of algorithm visualization have been added to the existing group of educational software. The aim of this paper is primarily to establish the superiority of visualization in learning process and to describe the details of the program vqmal which has been developed to illustrate the visualization of the Quine and McClusky algorithm for minimizing logical functions. In addition, in order to illustrate the effectiveness of the algorithm visualization, a relatively small set of statistical data is provided. The data are compiled after the use of vqmal program in teaching switching circuit and logic design theory to first-year students studying electrical engineering or computer science.  相似文献

Computer science core instruction attempts to provide a detailed understanding of dynamic processes such as the working of an algorithm or the flow of information between computing entities. Such dynamic processes are not well explained by static media such as text and images, and are difficult to convey in lecture. The authors survey the history of visualization in computer science education, focusing on artifacts that have a documented positive educational assessment. Changes in how computing technology has affected the development and uptake of such visualization artifacts in computer science education, and how recent technology changes are leading to progress in developing online hypertextbooks are then discussed.  相似文献

In this study, we examined how students' levels of spatial visualization ability interact with learning physics in a microcomputer-based laboratory (MBL) environment. Undergraduate students who had taken an introductory physics course based on MBL tools were pre- and posttested at the beginning and at the end of the semester on spatial visualization ability and their conceptual understanding of mechanics. The results showed that while spatial visualization is a reliable predictor for students' performance on physics conceptual evaluation tests before MBL instruction, the relation is not significant after the instruction. Furthermore, as a result of MBL instruction, students' levels of spatial visualization increased significantly. In addition, a group of science teachers presented with different types of MBL activities also showed a significant increase in spatial visualization ability.  相似文献

Computer based resource units were developed to improve the individualization of instruction through unit teaching. Instructional behaviors of teachers were examined to see if this kind of computer aid brought about a change in the way teachers teach. A pre-post two group experimental design was used in which the data were collected by a group of trained observers using an instruction observation tool. Pre-post mean scores were tested and found to be significant in five out of seven dimensions of instructional behavior. Variety and kinds of instructional materials and methods were also examined. The data indicate that teachers who use computer based resource units increase the number and improve the quality of many individualized instruction tasks.  相似文献
