随着技术的发展和人们生活方式的变化,短视频在碎片化阅读和快餐式娱乐的背景下应运而生,成为人们迅速获取信息的常用途径。在短视频领域中,抖音短视频的发展最为迅猛,稳居短视频领域第一。与此同时,在国家倡导全面复兴传统文化、建立清朗网络环境的大背景下,中国传统文化也是"抖音"平台上的重要内容之一,对中国传统文化的传播产生了很大的影响,扩展了传播方式,也带来了新的机遇与挑战。因此,以"抖音"短视频平台为例,通过分析传统文化在短视频平台传播的现状、特点、影响及目前所存在的问题,探寻"抖音+传统文化"模式下,中国传统文化传播的新思路。  相似文献

本文讨论跨文化传播的基本认识问题。文化是一个共享的系统,共同的历史和传统帮助每个人回答"我是谁?"这个首要的问题。关于对世界的认识,每个人都是通过自己所处的文化系统获得的。而跨文化交流指的是拥有不同文化感知和符号系统的人们之间进行的交流,他们的这些不同足以改变交流事件。应该认识到,在陌生人身上显现着社会距离、跨界生存、同质与异质的关系、开放与封闭的文化系统。跨文化传播研究是一个多学科交叉领域,不同领域的研究者从各自的知识背景出发形成了不同的问题意识与理论关怀。  相似文献

This paper defines cultural competence and cultural humility in the context of library and information professionals. Though cultural competence has been the standard of late within LIS, cultural humility is an important next step for information professionals to have the ability to work with the changing multiculturally diverse population throughout the world. Through evaluation of work published within the medical and social work fields, cultural humility frameworks are discussed before describing frameworks that are applicable for information professionals. Cultural humility is a lifelong process that requires education and extensive self-reflection and evaluation. Within the paper is a list of actionable questions that professionals can answer throughout their career that look at their perception of self, fellow professionals, and the communities that they serve. Within the appendix is an individual and organizational level assessment that can be completed to assist in reflection on cultural humility by the professional and organization.  相似文献

Research in intercultural communication competence (ICC) has flourished in the past several decades, arguably due to its relevance in an increasingly multicultural world. In fact the pervasive pragmatic relevance of effective and appropriate engagement with cultural diversity has spurred intercultural or cultural “competence” research in a variety of disciplines. The gap between the potential for works of art in museums to offer unique experiences, and the actual outcomes of visitor encounters, highlights the importance of the cultural competence of museum visitors. However, when applied to museum visiting, cultural competence should be primarily treated as perceptual and cognitive—one needs to exercise the perceptual activities that works of art require in order for a museum visit to register as some form of satisfying experience. The main part of the paper is devoted to discussion of some aspects of the perceptual basis of cultural competence required for perception of works of art—the problem of attention, the misplaced dichotomy of ‘museum viewing’ versus ‘everyday perception’, and the problem of defining the current cognitive style. It is argued that one of the greatest challenges to the museological profession is the problem of how to engage the complex issues of perception, vision and subjective experience more properly in the museological discourse, so that they can be reflected in theories of presentation and interpretation.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This article revisits LIS literature about cultural competence. It is not the prominent topic it was but is still considered important for addressing diversity, and is still criticized for obscuring racism and power structures in librarianship and society. Articles published in the last four years suggest, however, that library and information studies educators are teaching to engage with these issues. The cultural competence conceptual framework, specifically the environmental domain, can be recast to incorporate engagement with race and power. This more robust framework would enable culturally competent professionals to do more than accommodate difference.  相似文献

This study explores a corporate campaign to pass a referendum to enable the development of a hydropower plant in a small Swedish community. In the changing institutional context that grounds this case, the organization needed to develop communicative practices that embodied “cultural competence,” a set of processes identified as critical for the legitimacy and success of business organizations in the emerging global/intersectoral environment. Findings suggest that the MNC's communication strategy captured important components of cultural competence. However, institutional contradictions impeded enactment of the strategy and resulted in delegitimizing paradoxical communication. The results indicate that organizational awareness of institutional change and culturally competent strategy are insufficient without special attention to contradictions and resultant communicative paradoxes embodied within a particular institutional context. The importance of a reflective communication approach that engages contradictions and tensions in the surrounding micro–macro institutional contexts is underscored.  相似文献
