Responses to changes in relational uncertainty within dating relationships: Emotions and communication strategies 总被引：2，自引：0，他引：2
Guided by the appraisal theory of emotion, this paper examines how various emotions shape communication strategies within romantic relationships. Events that changed people's relational uncertainty levels provide the context for the investigation. Participants in dating relationships (N = 141) described their experience of relational certainty and uncertainty increasing events. Relational certainty increases coincided with relatively high levels of happiness, and relational uncertainty increases corresponded with heightened degrees of anger and sadness. Integrative behaviors were a frequently reported response to both kinds of events. Consistent with appraisal theory, specific emotions were associated with particular strategies; however, some effects were moderated by the type of event. The discussion highlights the utility of appraisal theory for understanding how romantic partners manage fluctuations in relational uncertainty. 相似文献

A new appraisal method for national government records introduced in the 1990s aimed at reducing backlogs in the transfer
of pre-1976 records to the National Archives of the Netherlands. Since then, appraisal and disposition decisions are based
on macro analysis. Preventing new backlogs from occurring was a second goal. The socalled project PIVOT (1991–2001 and after)
coordinated the introduction, development, and implementation of the new appraisal method. This article describes the objectives,
method, and appraisal criteria, as well as the criticism and laborious progress of this ongoing story.

Based on a discussion about appraisal which has been going on for over a 100 years, the so-called vertical and horizontal appraisal have been developed and tested since the middle of the 1990s. During this process the tasks, functions and competences of the agencies, which are to be appraised were analysed. The appraisal of the content itself is undertaken only when multiple archival processing has been eliminated by this method and the most significant records identified. Actual tasks and functions of single administrative branches of different institutions (federal government, states, counties, and municipalities) are appraised, apart from already closed records. In this way, agencies creating archives and records today receive written decisions on the appraisal of records, which will be offered to the archives in future. Archivists of different institutions are involved in this appraisal procedure. The experience gained here has continually developed the techniques of vertical and horizontal appraisal. This appraisal procedure is being further developed in a constant balance between theory and practice. 相似文献

This paper describes the convergence of libraries, archives, and museums in Germany from traditional brick-and-mortar institutions
to a digital memory institution on the Internet. An implementation of such a digital memory institution is BAM—the joint portal
of archives, libraries, and museums in Germany. BAM has the potential to serve as a single point of access to existing, but
separate offerings of the several branches of cultural heritage, e.g. union catalogs, and a great number of separate digitization
projects offering their content on the German Web. BAM can make an important contribution to the efforts of both the German
governments (federal and states) and the European Union, which are in the process of establishing portals to cultural content
on the Internet. The article gives an outline of the current undertakings and illustrates how the striving for ubiquitous
knowledge delivered by Internet portals relates to the scientific tradition of documentation in Europe. 相似文献

In this essay, the author ruminates on the relationship between collecting and archival appraisal. He argues that collecting
does not necessarily equal appraisal, although society and even archivists value it as an important function. The author stresses
that the critical need is for archivists to have a clear perspective, whether highly theoretical or immensely practical, of
what it is they hope to accomplish in appraising and that they need to document this process so that future researchers and
archivists can understand what archival appraisal meant. As it is, archives might become more valued as important cultural
symbols than for the records they actually hold. The notion of an “end” of collecting is in the sense that collecting is appraising,
but appraising elevated to a professional function requiring more care, deliberate thought, and self-evaluation. 相似文献

Background:The proliferation of systematic reviews has impacted library operations and activities as librarians support, collaborate, and perform more tasks in the systematic review process. This case report describes a toolkit that librarians with extensive experience in supporting multiple review teams use to manage time, resources, and expectations in the systematic review process.Case Presentation:The toolkit is a compilation of documents that we use to effectively communicate with and help review teams understand and navigate each stage of the systematic review process. Elements included in the toolkit and discussed in this case report are intake forms, communication templates and memoranda, a process flow diagram, library guides on tools for retrieval and data appraisal, and established standards for guidance during the write-up stage. We describe the use of the toolkit for both education and project management, with a focus on its use in helping manage team time, resources, and expectations.Discussion:The systematic review toolkit helps librarians connect systematic review steps and tasks to actionable items. The content facilitates and supports discussion and learning by both librarians and team members. “Macroappraisal, the next frontier” describes a records disposition pilot project which was based on a refinement of the current
macroappraisal methodology in use at Library and Archives Canada. Still very much a work in progress, the refined approach
builds upon macroappraisal theory and methodology, and this paper presents its application to Fisheries and Oceans Canada,
a major federal government department in the Government of Canada. The project focused on providing the institution with total
records disposition coverage based on a single archival appraisal and two Records Disposition Authorities. This paper demonstrates
the feasibility of appraising records at the mandate level instead of at the function or program level. It also outlines and
points to the benefits and advantages of appraising large government institutions intheir totality rather than in smaller,
discrete sectors, branches, or divisions.

[目的/意义]宏观职能鉴定通常被认为是档案鉴定由“国家模式”走向“社会模式”的转变,从哲学基础、鉴定客体和价值追求来看,档案宏观职能鉴定的真正内核无疑是反映和尊重“社会”,但其是否为完全的“社会模式”、是否实现“知行合一”却有必要作进一步探析。[方法/过程]分别以“国家性”和“社会性”作为基本考察对象,分析阐述宏观职能鉴定对于两者的体现情况与程度。[结果/结论]宏观职能鉴定存在“国家性”有余而“社会性”不足的问题,若欲真正实现档案鉴定向社会模式转变的目标,应当将宏观鉴定与微观鉴定相搭配,将“自上而下”和“自下而上”的鉴定路径相结合,同时在鉴定时划分正式场域与非正式场域。 相似文献

This study aims to enlighten the controversial discussion about the term public value in an innovative way. Instead of normative pronouncements and paternalistic posits, this study combines a theoretical, literature-based conception with an empirical quantitative approach. For this, the key term, public value, is split into its constituent parts of customer value and citizen value and is transformed into measurable attributes. By means of a choice-based conjoint analysis on panel data for Germany and the United Kingdom, we explore which performance attributes of public service broadcasters are the most important. Based on the results, we create a conception of public value from the perspective of the license fee payers as the main stakeholder of public service broadcasters. Our findings may unlock existing potential to increase our understanding of what is meant by the term public value. 相似文献

[目的/意义] 基于保护动机理论,检验疫情信息对培养公众风险意识的影响,揭示人们面对疫情风险时的认知方式,探索能够提高公众健康保护意愿的沟通措施。[方法/过程] 通过网络调查获取来自全国28个省份的450份问卷数据,采用PLS进行结构方程模型分析,经过测量模型、结构模型检测,验证研究所提假设。[结果/结论] 研究发现威胁意识和对策意识能够显著提高公众的威胁评价和应对评价,并形成独特的风险认知特征,在与公众沟通时如果能够遵循这些特征,将能够最大限度影响他们的健康保护意愿。研究还发现目前公众感知易感性普遍较低,由此可能引发乐观偏差等一系列问题,应当得到更多关注。 相似文献
