随着教育改革的深入与发展,计算机网络课程是高等院校计算机专业主干课程之一。目前,绝大多数学生对计算机网络理论学习及实践技能认识不清、定位不准。为此,对计算机网络课程在大学教学中存在的问题进行了分析,提出了教、学并用;学、考并进的教学理念,使学生由被动学习变为主动学习,形成以教师为主导,以学生为主体的教学模式,进而提高了计算机网络教学质量,进一步完善了计算机网络教学体系。  相似文献

Political and institutional support has enabled many institutions of learning to spend millions of dollars to acquire educational computing tools (Ficklen and Muscara, Am Educ 25(3):22–29, 2001) that have not been effectively integrated into the curriculum. While access to educational technology tools has remarkably improved in most schools, there is still concern about instructional integration of computer technology to support student learning. Appropriate integration of computer tools constitutes a major change in people’s lives; technology integration is a complex phenomenon that involves understanding teachers’ motivations, perceptions, and beliefs about learning and technology (Woodbridge, ). Although computer technology has a great potential to reform or even transform education, barriers come in the way of achieving success especially with student learning. This paper presents an overview of technology use in education with a focus on barriers to computer technology integration. Further, this paper provides suggestions to maximize the benefits of learning with computer technology.  相似文献

为适应计算机网络技术发展的需求,改革计算机网络实验教学模式和教学内容,突破原有课程体系的限制,建立新型的计算机网络实验教学体系具有及其重要的现实意义。计算机网络实验应采用专题化、模块化、可伸缩的实验教学模式。将整个网络实验室分成三个部分:计算机网络组网与配置实验、计算机网络应用实验、信息安全实验。对每一部分实验都采用多个专题形式,既有原理、协议分析、配置、网络架设等验证型实验,也有设计型及综合性实验。  相似文献

This paper outlines some of the reasons for the use of computer networking for teacher education and professional development, and discusses why networking can be used to support teacher education and development. A review of the literature suggests that among other reasons, networking is particularly conducive to teacher development because: (a) it helps break down teacher isolation and build a supportive learning community, (b) it serves as an agent of change, and (c) it helps disseminate educational materials and resources. The computer network recently developed specifically for secondary English teachers in Hong Kong, the TeleNex, is reported in this paper to highlight some of the factors that should be considered in the design and implementation of networks for teacher development. Preliminary observations suggest that these teachers are on their way to using this new technology to build and own their own electronic learning community.  相似文献

This article is based on a survey carried out at Imperial College, to understand better needs, problems, advantages/disadvantages and solutions in the use of new technologies in a specific context, such as engineering education. In comparison with other research on this matter, perceptions, benefits and barriers to using computer-assisted learning and information and communication technologies in higher education, the present study reveals something more about the use of educational technologies in scientific subjects: many lecturers believe that technical subjects do appear to benefit greatly from the ability to teach using real-life computer simulations which help with student motivation and understanding. Moreover, the use of computers allows practical experiences and help in data analysis, and often work would be impossible without computers. Nevertheless, the survey results indicate that, although there are many advantages in the use of computers in teaching and learning, there are many difficulties for lecturers in using the new technologies because of logistical problems, such as lack of time, technical support, appropriate software and hardware, etc. There is a need to consider what support can be offered and how, on a national level.  相似文献

Most researchers writing about the uses and applications of information technologies in schools adopt an 'objective,' asocial perspective that represents the activities taking place as neutral, technical events or procedures. This paper uses the critical sociological theory of Pierre Bourdieu to frame up a case study of the role played by a secondary student in an extensive upgrade to the computer network of the school at which he was a student. The application of social theory enables the reconceptualisation of technology as a material, social practice in the institutional site of the school. The implication is that pedagogical actions and relations are then open to analysis and modification. The paper proposes that, with appropriate support and guidance, it is feasible for students with technical 'cultural capital' to move from the margins to the centre of technological innovation and educational change.  相似文献

This paper focuses on three distinctive ways in which educational software can support learning dialogues in primary classrooms. After a re-capitulation of published research on Initiation, Discussion, Response, Feedback (IDRF) exchanges, where the computer is used to stimulate discussion and then direct it through using feedback, we ask if there are other ways in which educational software and pedagogy can combine to support learning dialogues. We describe the effect of combining preparation for exploratory talk at the computer with group strategy games played against the computer and then we discuss, with examples, the role of software (in this case Bubble Dialogue) that allows groups to externalise their thoughts in order to reflect upon them. We argue that these three types of educational activity exemplify distinctive ways in which the computer enters into and supports educational dialogues.  相似文献

Just as the grand challenges in scientific research require computer-communications network support for collaboration among geographically disparate institutions, disciplines, and individuals, so the grand challenges of educational reform require new kinds of collaborations across previously separate institutional boundaries and among individuals whose work was previously isolated from one another. The national and international computer communications infrastructure is being engineered and deployed at the same time as new structures are sought for education. Know-how about productive educational applications of computer communications has been gained from previous and current projects. Productive projects in educational telecomputing will focus on the grand challenges of education, and at the same time help to build appropriate telecommunications infrastructure for education. A reasonable goal is to have in operation, by the mid-1990s, the intellectual, technological, educational, and organizational foundation necessary for productive and efficient use of computer-communications networks for education.Opinions expressed in this paper are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect official policy of the National Science Foundation.  相似文献
