The paper argues that the theory that opens out the nature of subject indexing process is required, if the process consists of a tremor of steps and elements and it is a range of interpretations, too. With a review of the evolution of the theory of hermeneutics, this paper raises the problem of knowledge gap in information communication, and from the viewpoint of hermeneutics, analyzes its crux and key issues to be resolved. It further discusses the cognitive viewpoints in information studies, compares them with the text receiving theory and stresses the positions and roles of information users as the main part in information communication. The essay describes the development of Hugo de Vries's thinking on heredity from the publication of his Intracellulare Pangenesis in 1889 to the publication of Die Mutations-theorie, Volume 2, in 1903. De Vries's work in the 1890s can be characterized as an attempt to defend his theory of pangenes, especially the fundamental and controversial idea that different characters have different material hereditary carriers. Hybridization experiments served his goal. Recently discovered research notes on hybridization from 1896 suggest that, though he was unaware of Mendel's work, De Vries used the laws of dominance and recessiveness, segregation, and independent assortment to explain the 75:25 ratio in the second generation. He had discovered these laws by applying insights from probability theory to his research. In Die Mutationstheorie De Vries combined central concepts of intracellular pangenesis and his mutation theory by modifying the meanings of important terms and introducing new states of pangenes. In his attempts to describe Mendelian crossings in terms of pangenes and mutations, he became entangled in a number of contradictions. Some of his remarks suggest that he was aware that the Mendelian laws and his own theories of pangenes and mutations could not be made consistent. 相似文献

朴素的概率衰减论是把逻辑和心理混同的产物,由心理活动中可能存在衰减而推断命题的真假有程度的不同,进而要求或者为了保全真的高程度而少推理,或者为了构造更复杂的理论而放弃真理概念。这种观点对逻辑推演、理论构造和科学发展都是障碍。就命题的真值以及推演的逻辑结构看,它们都是逻辑事件而不是随机事件,因而推理链条越长结论为真的概率越低之说就是语词误用。逻辑方面不存在概率衰减,只有心理方面才可能存在概率衰减。逻辑方面和心理方面尽管事实上不能分割开,但理论上必须有某种程度的区分。 相似文献
