The operational space control of a robot manipulator using external sensors requires stabilizing the compound system {external sensors - outer controller - inner controller - robot manipulator}. The user must access the inner controller to reshape it to achieve this stabilization. Due to intellectual property protection purposes, most industrial robots have an unknown or inaccessible inner controller. Therefore, it is tricky to design a stable control scheme. To solve this problem, an adaptive radial basis function neural network (RBF NN) outer controller is proposed, which approximates the inner controller’s dynamics to eliminate its effect in the closed-loop. An inherent property for RBF NN is used to reduce the number of adaptive parameters. Since this technique introduces approximation errors, it is included in the control scheme, a term that constrains the system to converge rapidly to the performances prescribed by the user. It is proved that all the closed-loop signals are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB) through Lyapunov theory. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is verified through simulation comparisons and experimental studies.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the image-based visual servoing (IBVS) control for uncalibrated camera-robot system with unknown dead-zone constraint, where the uncertain kinematics and dynamics are also considered. The control implementation is achieved by constructing a smooth inverse model for dead-zone-input to eliminate the nonlinear effect resulting from the actuator constraint. A novel adaptive algorithm, which does not require a priori knowledge of the parameter intervals of dead-zone model, is proposed to update the parameter values online, and the dead-zone slopes are not required the same. Furthermore, to accommodate the uncertainties of uncalibrated camera-robot system, adaptation laws are developed to estimate the uncertain parameters, simultaneously avoiding singularity of the image Jacobian matrix. With the full consideration of unknown dead-zone constraint and system uncertainties, an adaptive robust visual tracking control scheme together with dead-zone compensation is subsequently established such that the image tracking error converges to the origin. Based on a 3-DOF manipulator, simulations are conducted to verify the tracking performance of the proposed controller.  相似文献

This paper presents an intelligent controller for underwater vehicle-manipulator systems (UVMS) based on the neuro-fuzzy approach. The controller is composed of fuzzy PD control with membership function tuning by linguistic hedge. A neural network compensator approximates the dynamics of the UVMS in decentralized form. The new controller has the advantages of simplicity of implementation due to decentralized design, precision, and robustness to payload variations and hydrodynamic disturbances. It has significantly low energy consumption compared to both the conventional PD and conventional fuzzy control methods. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is illustrated by results of simulations for a six degrees of freedom autonomous underwater vehicle with a three degrees of freedom on-board manipulator.  相似文献

To perform repetitive tasks, this paper proposes an adaptive boundary iterative learning control (ILC) scheme for a two-link rigid–flexible manipulator with parametric uncertainties. Using Hamilton?s principle, the coupled ordinary differential equation and partial differential equation (ODE–PDE) dynamic model of the system is established. In order to drive the joints to follow desired trajectory and eliminate deformation of flexible beam simultaneously, boundary control strategy is added based on the conventional joints torque control. The adaptive iterative learning algorithm for boundary control scheme includes a proportional-derivative (PD) feedback structure and an iterative term. This novel controller is designed to deal with the unmodeled dynamics and other unknown external disturbances. Numerical simulations are provided to verify the performance of proposed controller in MATLAB.  相似文献

In this paper, the tracking control problem of uncertain Euler–Lagrange systems under control input saturation is studied. To handle system uncertainties, a leakage-type (LT) adaptive law is introduced to update the control gains to approach the disturbance variations without knowing the uncertainty upper bound a priori. In addition, an auxiliary dynamics is designed to deal with the saturation nonlinearity by introducing the auxiliary variables in the controller design. Lyapunov analysis verifies that based on the proposed method, the tracking error will be asymptotically bounded by a neighborhood around the origin. To demonstrate the proposed method, simulations are finally carried out on a two-link robot manipulator. Simulation results show that in the presence of actuator saturation, the proposed method induces less chattering signal in the control input compared to conventional sliding mode controllers.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of robust integrated fault estimation (FE) and fault-tolerant control (FTC) for a class of discrete-time networked Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy systems with two-channel event-triggered schemes, input quantization and incomplete measurements. The incomplete information under consideration includes randomly occurring sensor saturation and randomly occurring quantization. In order to save the limited networked resources, this paper firstly proposed a novel dynamic event-triggered scheme on the sensor side and a static one on the controller side. Secondly, an event-triggered FE observer for the T–S fuzzy model is designed to estimate actuator faults and system states, simultaneously. Then, a specified discrete sliding surface in the state-estimation space is constructed. By using time-delay analysis technique and considering the effects of event-triggered scheme, quantization, networked conditions, actuator fault and external disturbance, the sliding mode dynamics and error dynamics are unified into a new networked time-delay model. Based on this model, sufficient conditions are established such that the resulting augmented fuzzy system is stochastically stable with a prescribed H performance level with a single-step linear matrix inequality (LMI) formulation. Furthermore, an observer-based sliding mode controller for reaching motion is synthesized to guarantee the reachability of the sliding surface. Finally, a single-link flexible manipulator example is present to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

Gas flow has fractional order dynamics; therefore, it is reasonable to assume that the pneumatic systems with a proportional valve to regulate gas flow have fractional order dynamics as well. There is a hypothesis that the fractional order control has better control performance for this inherent fractional order system, although the model used for fractional controller design is integer order. To test this hypothesis, a fractional order sliding mode controller is proposed to control the pneumatic position servo system, which is based on the exponential reaching law. In this method, the fractional order derivative is introduced into the sliding mode surface. The stability of the controller is proven using Lyapunov theorem. Since the pressure sensor is not required, the control system configuration is simple and inexpensive. The experimental results presented indicate the proposed method has better control performance than the fractional order proportional integral derivative (FPID) controller and some conventional integral order control methods. Points to be noticed here are that the fractional order sliding mode control is superior to the integral order sliding mode counterpart, and the FPID is superior to the corresponding integral order PID, both with optimal parameters. Among all the methods compared, the proposed method achieves the highest tracking accuracy. Moreover, the proposed controller has less chattering in the manipulated variable, the energy consumption of the controller is therefore substantially reduced.  相似文献

This work is concerned with the finite-time sliding mode control for a class of Markovian jump systems subject to actuator nonlinearities, where the elements in the transition rate matrix are uncertain or even completely unknown. A suitable sliding mode controller is designed such that the finite-time stochastic boundedness of state trajectories is attained during a given finite-time interval, in which two different robust terms are introduced for the known and unknown modes to deal with the effect of uncertain transition rates. Moreover, the connections among sliding functions under Markovian jumping for SMC systems are analyzed. Finally, some simulation results with a wheeled mobile manipulator are provided.  相似文献

In this paper, the robust motion control problem is investigated for quadrotors. The proposed controller includes two parts: an attitude controller and a position controller. Both the attitude and position controllers include a nominal controller and a robust compensator. The robust compensators are introduced to restrain the influence of uncertainties such as nonlinear dynamics, coupling, parametric uncertainties, and external disturbances in the rotational and translational dynamics. It is proven that the position tracking errors are ultimately bounded and the boundaries can be specified by choosing controller parameters. Experimental results on the quadrotor demonstrate the effectiveness of the robust control method.  相似文献

In this work, finite time position and heading control based on backstepping based fast terminal sliding mode control is proposed for coaxial octorotor subjected to external wind disturbances. First, mathematical model of the coaxial octorotor is developed and then a new learning-based technique, an extended inverse multi-quadratic radial basis function network (EIMRBFN) is proposed to estimate the unmodeled dynamics of the octorotor. The external disturbance observer is also designed to encompass the realistic disturbance effect in the dynamical model and to allow the controller handle external disturbances, effectively. Backstepping controller based on fast terminal sliding model control is then proposed and also applied on the resultant dynamical model that provides finite time convergence of system's states. The stability of the proposed controller and complete system is analyzed using Lyapunov stability theory. Finite time convergence analysis of the desired trajectory is also provided. Simulations are carried out to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme. Comparison with traditional PID and LQR controllers also verifies that the proposed controller achieves improved performance.  相似文献

In this paper, simultaneous position/force control of a closed-chain planar manipulator with the last link flexible is studied when the manipulator is in contact with an environment. The proposed manipulator consists of a flexible link connected to three rigid linkages whichare optimized for kinematic and force manipulability in the region of interest. The flexible link is modeled as a series of rigid links connected by virtual torsion springs. A hybrid position/force control algorithm is developed and implemented on the manipulator. Experimental results are presented to verify the performance of the controller.  相似文献

This paper proposes an adaptive data-driven fault-tolerant control scheme using the Koopman operator for unknown dynamics subjected to nonlinearities, time-varying loss of effectiveness, and additive actuator faults. The main objective of this method is to design a virtual actuator to hide actuator faults from the view of the system’s nominal controller without having any prior knowledge about the system’s underlying dynamics. The designed virtual actuator is placed between the faulty plant and the nominal controller of the system to keep the dynamical system’s performance consistent before and after the occurrence of actuator faults. Based on the Koopman operator theory, an equivalent Koopman predictor is first obtained using the process data only, without knowing the governing equations of the underlying dynamics. Koopman operator is an infinite-dimensional, linear operator which takes the nonlinear process data into an infinite-dimensional feature space where the dynamic data correlations have linear behavior. Next, based on the approximated system’s Koopman operator, a virtual actuator is designed and implemented without knowing the system’s nominal controller. Needless to use a separate fault detection, isolation, and identification module to perform fault-tolerant control, the current method leverages the adaptive framework to keep the system’s desired performance in facing time-varying additive and loss of effectiveness actuator faults. Finally, the approach’s efficacy is demonstrated using simulation on a two-link manipulator benchmark, and a comparison study is presented.  相似文献

This paper proposes a control algorithm for networks of multiple heterogeneous robot manipulators, which solves the leader–follower and the leaderless consensus problems in the operational space. In the leader–follower scenario, the controller ensures that all the robots in the network asymptotically reach a given leader pose (position and orientation), provided that, at least, one follower robot has access to the leader pose. Without a leader pose, in the leaderless problem, the robots asymptotically reach a pose of consensus. The controller is a simple distributed proportional plus damping injection (P+d) scheme which does not require velocity measurements. A singularity-free representation, unit quaternions, is used to describe the orientation of each manipulator. The paper presents some simulations, with a network of six 6-Degrees-of-Freedom (DoF) manipulators, and experiments, with a network of three 6-DoF manipulators, to show the effectiveness of the proposed controller.  相似文献

The dynamics of multi-DOF aerial manipulators is complex system evolving in non-Euclidean Lie group, making design and tuning of the control of such systems challenge. In this paper we consider the nonlinear geometric control for aerial manipulation system. The linearized tracking error kinematic equation of motion on SO(3) is obtained from the variation on SO(3). Based on the linearized tracking error kinematic equation of motion on SO(3), the trajectory linearization control for the kinematics on SO(3) is investigated. The decoupled dynamics of multi-DOF aerial manipulator enables us to apply the results of trajectory linearization control for the kinematics on SO(3). We then design the entire controller for aerial manipulation system by composing different trajectory linearization control loops. Such controller structure eases the controller implementation and tuning procedure. The stability of the proposed controlled system is analyzed using Lyapunov’s method. The proof is finished from inner loop to outer loop. It is proven that the closed loop shape system is exponentially stable. The attraction basin of the configuration error for the shape system can almost cover the whole SO(3)×Rn. The stability of the system considering the actuator dynamics and perturbations is also discussed in this paper. From the stability of the shape system, the stability of the entire system is proven. The stability analysis results are further verified through several numerical simulations.  相似文献

A common approach to Lyapunov's stability control is to design a controller such that a Lyapunov function can be derived for the control system to ensure stability. This procedure often leads to a discontinuous controller. When the controller is implemented, the discontinuous terms are replaced with continuous functions to avoid chattering of the control signal. Two associated problems have been overlooked during this procedure. One is that discontinuous control systems are non-smooth, which violates the fundamental assumptions of solution theories and the applicability of Lyapunov's stability theory is questionable. Another problem is that the replacement of discontinuous terms may weaken stability, which can be critical. In this paper, we discuss proper stability analysis of discontinuous control systems using the extended Lyapunov's second method based on Filippov's solution concept for non-smooth systems. We further propose to utilize the concept of Lyapunov exponents to quantitatively analyze the stability of continuous control systems obtained by replacing the discontinuous terms in the discontinuous controllers. An example involving the stabilization of a two-link non-fixed-base robotic manipulator is presented for demonstration. This research fills the gap in designing continuous Lyapunov's stability controllers regarding limited available Lyapunov functions.  相似文献

In this paper, an asynchronous sliding mode control design method based on the event-triggered strategy is proposed for the continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) under external disturbance. Firstly, with the purpose of appropriately modeling the multi-mode switching phenomenon in the CSTR caused by the fluctuation of temperature and concentration, the Markov process is applied. Secondly, the asynchronous switching characteristics are introduced to describe mismatch between the controller and the system, which caused by some factors such as signal transmission delay and packet dropout. In order to effectively estimate the system states that cannot be measured in real time, an observer based on the event-triggered strategy is proposed, which also can reduce the computational cost. In addition, a sliding mode controller is designed to ensure the dynamic stability and the sliding dynamics is reachable in a finite time. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulation experiments.  相似文献

Independent force and position control for cooperating manipulators   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The problem of independent force and position control of multitask cooperating manipulators is studied. Each manipulator is in a non-singular configuration and the object can be driven by the contact forces exerted by the end effectors of the manipulators. The design requirement is to control each coordinate of the position of the object as well as each component of the “rest” forces, except the moving forces that are determined uniquely from the object's position. The present design requirement has been proved to be always satisfied together with asymptotic and BIBO stability. A class of controllers solving the above simultaneous problem is analytically determined. The proposed state feedback controller does not depend upon the specific object dynamics and thus the resulting closed-loop multimanipulator system performs as required, not only when handling various objects but also when the dynamics of the objects are unknown or hard to compute or disturbed by external forces.  相似文献

This paper is focus on an event-triggered control design problem for nonlinear networked control systems with missing data and transmission delay in the interval type-2 (IT2) fuzzy form. An event-triggered controller is presented under a sampled-state-error mechanism. By dividing the event-triggered interval into some subsets, stability analysis is carried out based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF), and the stability of the closed-loop system is ensured. The proposed design is applied to the continuous stirred tank reactor system (CSTR) and the manipulator system. The control strategy is effective, and the merit of the event-triggered mechanism is indicated.  相似文献

This study is concerned with the event-triggered sliding mode control problem for a class of cyber-physical switched systems, in which the Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks may randomly occur according to the Bernoulli distribution. A key issue is how to design the output feedback sliding mode control (SMC) law for guaranteeing the dynamical performance of the closed-loop system under DoS attacks. To this end, an event-triggered mechanism is firstly introduced to reduce the communication load, under which the measurement signal is transmitted only when a certain triggering condition is satisfied. An usable output signal for the controller is constructed to compensate the effect of unmeasured states and DoS attacks. And then, a dynamic output feedback sliding mode controller is designed by means of the attack probability and the compensated output signals. Both the reachability and the mean-square exponential stability of sliding mode dynamics are investigated and the corresponding sufficient conditions are obtained. Finally, some numerical simulation results are provided.  相似文献
