可用性评价是指从用户的角度出发,评价软件或产品是否易用、好用、令用户满意。网络教学平台的主要用户为教师和学习者,较之其它软件平台,对其可用性的评价在传统可用性评价维度,如可学习性、高效性、可记忆性、容错性、适意性等因素之外,需考虑师生教学相关的可用性因素。本文通过对网络教学平台可用性评价的文献梳理,归纳分析了国内外网络教学平台可用性评价的研究进展及相关实践现状。  相似文献

以个性化教师专业发展支持系统的可用性影响因素为主题,将信息化环境下教师专业发展支持系统网络平台作为测试对象进行可用性测试个案研究。采用用户测试法,邀请真实用户在真实环境中完成测试任务,并对录像视频和访谈记录进行后期分析,从有效性、效率、满意度3个方面探索影响教师在该平台体验中的可用性问题。展示了以用户使用体验为测试重点的可用性测试方法,总结了该类网站高可用性的设计原则,为寻求个性化教师专业发展网络平台可用性设计要素提供了直接的参考依据。  相似文献

可用性评估需要具体的技术、方法以及辅助工具来实施对任务的度量,当前比较常见的可用性评估方法主要包括可用性测试、启发式评估、认知过程浏览、行为分析、问卷法、卡片分拣法等。每一种方法适用范围不同,根据测试对象特点选择适合的测试方法是保证测试效果的基础。该文浅析常见可用性评估方法的特点,并着重分析Web界面设计中简易可用性评估的实施要点。  相似文献

随着互联网的飞速发展,近年来网络资源库大量涌现。而当前无论是电子教学平台的教学资源库,还是电子政务系统的档案历史资源库,抑或电子商务网站的商品资源库,都普遍存在着可用性不高的问题。大部分资源库建设者仍把眼光停留在“收集更多资源”上,将数据容量大作为卖点,导致资源库与用户实际需求存在一定差距,造成资源的可用性不强。面对此问题,首先要解决的是网络资源库可用性评估这一关键环节。本文将从设定可用性指标入手,设计出一套主客观并行测量的网络资源库可用性评价方法。  相似文献

在网络课程的设计与开发过程中,人们往往优先考虑其教学性(主要体现在教学目标、教学内容、教学活动和教学评价等方面)和技术性(主要体现在资源媒体开发、功能开发和技术标准等方面),而对其可用性(主要表现在易学、易用、高效、低错误率和高满意度等方面)关注不足,即对学习者的学习体验关注不足.本文主要围绕网络课程的可用性以及影响网络课程可用性的要素这一主题,对华东师范大学国家网络精品课程<心理学导论>的可用性情况展开个案研究.本案例研究的首要目的在于测试该门课程原型的设计是否合理,是否受学习者欢迎,学习者的体验是否良构;其次,把该案例作为网络课程可用性测试的典型案例之一,为提炼出影响网络课程可用性设计的要素提供一手参考资料,总结出高可用性的网络课程之间共有的可用性质量要素.  相似文献

以移动终端作为载体开展的微型移动学习,试图有效满足移动学习者的要求,如学习内容实用、学习时间分散等。为此,对于微型移动学习的设计,除了考虑内容、媒体的设计之外,还需要从用户的角度,对其可用性进行设计。本文调查分析了在线学习、WAP和移动手持设备的可用性现状,确定了微型移动学习可用性设计的原则,从微型移动学习的特点出发,结合可用性测试的各种方法及工具,初步形成了微型移动学习可用性设计及测试的方案。  相似文献

This paper proposes a new methodology for checking conformance of the software architectural design of Learning Management System (LMS) to Learning Technology System Architecture (LTSA). In our approach, the architectural designing of LMS follows the formal modeling style of Acme. An ontology is built to represent the LTSA rules and the software architecture in Acme style. Conformity of the design with LTSA rules is tested by reasoning the ontology with the query language SPARQL. A Java-based plug-in system is introduced to implement functionalities like loading the elements of the architectural design into the ontology, mapping the architectural elements with LTSA elements, and performing the conformance test. The advantage of the proposed methodology is two-folded. First, it verifies an important software quality attribute – conformance to technical standard – at an early stage of development, like high-level design phase. Secondly, instead of the conventional manual checklist based approach of conformance testing, this methodology focuses on an automated way to finding the conformance level of the system under check.  相似文献

Recently, because of the rapid increase in the popularity of the Internet, the delivery of learning programmes has gradually shifted from local desktop to online‐based applications. As more and more technological tools become available for online education, there is an increasing interest among educators and other professionals in the application of these tools with regard to online courses. In large‐scale operations, online learning management systems (LMSs) can save cost and time. LMSs are software applications that comprise a suite of tools for learning and teaching online. In conventional educational settings, online LMSs can help to improve the speed and effectiveness of the educational process, communication among learners, and also between staff and students. There are a large number of open‐source and commercially available LMSs on the marketplace, and one of the problems facing an administrator or instructor is how to choose the LMS that can meet his/her needs. This paper describes a software system developed by the author to aid in the selection of a suitable LMS. The software is a web‐based decision support system, titled Easy Way to Evaluate LMSs, and is based on using a multi‐attribute decision‐making algorithm for the effective selection of an LMS.  相似文献

Online educational technologies and e‐learning tools are providing new opportunities for students to learn worldwide, and they continue to play an important role in anatomical sciences education. Yet, as we shift to teaching online, particularly within the anatomical sciences, it has become apparent that e‐learning tool success is based on more than just user satisfaction and preliminary learning outcomes—rather it is a multidimensional construct that should be addressed from an integrated perspective. The efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction with which a user can navigate an e‐learning tool is known as usability, and represents a construct which we propose can be used to quantitatively evaluate e‐learning tool success. To assess the usability of an e‐learning tool, usability testing should be employed during the design and development phases (i.e., prior to its release to users) as well as during its delivery (i.e., following its release to users). However, both the commercial educational software industry and individual academic developers in the anatomical sciences have overlooked the added value of additional usability testing. Reducing learner frustration and anxiety during e‐learning tool use is essential in ensuring e‐learning tool success, and will require a commitment on the part of the developers to engage in usability testing during all stages of an e‐learning tool's life cycle. The usability of computer interfaces may have a major influence on learning. Design approaches that optimize usability are commonplace in the software development industry but are seldom used in the development of e‐learning resources, especially in medical education. We conducted a usability evaluation of a multimedia resource for teaching electrolyte and acid‐base disorders by studying the interaction of 15 medical doctors with the application. Most of the usability problems occurred in an interactive treatment simulation, which was completed successfully by only 20% of participants. A total of 27 distinct usability problems were detected, with 15 categorized as serious. No differences were observed with respect to usability problems detected by junior doctors as compared with more experienced colleagues. Problems were related to user information and feedback, the visual layout, match with the real world, error prevention and management, and consistency and standards. The resource was therefore unusable for many participants; this is in contrast to good scores previously reported for subjective user satisfaction. The findings suggest that the development of e‐learning materials should follow an iterative design‐and‐test process that includes routine usability evaluation. User testing should include the study of objective measures and not rely only on self‐reported measures of satisfaction.  相似文献

This paper reports the results of a three-stage usability test of a modeling tool designed to support learners’ deep understanding of the impacts of climate change on ecosystems. The design process involved repurposing an existing modeling technology used by professional scientists into a learning tool specifically designed for middle school students. To evaluate usability, we analyzed students’ task performance and task completion time as they worked on an activity with the repurposed modeling technology. In stage 1, we conducted remote testing of an early modeling prototype with urban middle school students (n = 84). In stages 2 and 3, we used screencasting software to record students’ mouse and keyboard movements during collaborative think-alouds (n = 22) and conducted a qualitative analysis of their peer discussions. Taken together, the study findings revealed two kinds of usability issues that interfered with students’ productive use of the tool: issues related to the use of data and information, and issues related to the use of the modeling technology. The study findings resulted in design improvements that led to stronger usability outcomes and higher task performance among students. In this paper, we describe our methods for usability testing, our research findings, and our design solutions for supporting students’ use of the modeling technology and use of data. The paper concludes with implications for the design and study of modeling technologies for science learning.  相似文献

本文提出利用多次单因素试验、正交实验设计和均匀设计等常用方法为软件的配置测试产生测试数据, 以确保待测软件可以在不同的配置上正确运行, 并分析比较了这些方法的优缺点. 在此基础上提出使用两两组合覆盖方法来改善正交试验设计方法的不足、使用多因素组合覆盖方法来降低因不完全测试而带来的风险, 并提出一种单因素覆盖方法, 该方法可以产生最少的测试数据, 在覆盖各个系统因素的同时, 尽可能多地覆盖各个因素间的两两组合. 最后, 对这些测试数据生成方法从测试数据集的规模、组合覆盖率、可用性等方面进行了比较.  相似文献

The rapid uptake of campus-wide Learning Management Systems (LMS) is changing the character of the on-campus learning experience. The trend towards LMS as an adjunct to traditional learning modes has been the subject of little research beyond technical analyses of alternative software systems. Drawing on Australian experience, this paper presents a broad, critical examination of the potential impact of these online systems on teaching and learning in universities. It discusses in particular the possible effects of LMS on teaching practices, on student engagement, on the nature of academic work and on the control over academic knowledge.  相似文献

Current interactive learning environments cannot be accessed by learners with disabilities, in particular for students with vision disabilities. Modeling techniques are necessary to map real-world experiences to virtual worlds by using 3D auditory representations of objects for blind people. In this paper, a model to design multimedia software for blind learners is presented. The model was validated with existing educational software for these users. We describe the modeling of the real world including cognitive usability testing tasks by considering not only the representation of the real world but also modeling the learner’s knowledge of the virtual world. The software architecture is also described by using this model, displaying the components needed to impact learning. Finally, we analyze critical issues in designing software for learners with visual disabilities and propose some recommendations and guidelines.  相似文献
