How U.S. and Chinese journalists think about plagiarism

A comparison of 1,096 professional journalists in China and the United States on attitudes toward attribution and plagiarism reveals Chinese journalists were more likely to see attribution as a practice to be embraced regardless of career longevity and culture, suggesting journalistic norms are more important than a collectivist orientation. Attribution was more likely to be embraced by those who see principles as more important than expediency, affirming research that plagiarism is hardly a monolithic concept. Overall, journalists in the two nations did not vary significantly in their attitudes toward plagiarism, despite vast differences in culture and politics as well as evidence that in some other fields China is more accepting of reusing material without attribution. The data show that among journalists, attitudes toward plagiarism are shared across national boundaries, reinforcing related research showing that a journalism culture exists and is shared at least in part across national boundaries.  相似文献

高原训练对速滑运动员血常规指标变化的影响

高原训练作为一种提高运动员竞技能力的重要手段,但我国速度滑冰项目运动员在高原地区训练和比赛的相关研究较少,通过对我国速滑运动员高原训练的系统分析,以期对项目的训练方法、手段和理念的创新、研究、发展提供有效的理论依据.以黑龙江省速度滑冰队16名队员为研究对象,对他们在高原训练期间血常规指标变化情况进行研究.结果表明:高原训练会对人体的免疫系统产生影响,高原训练期间,白细胞会在短时间内降低,一段时间后会恢复,血红蛋白指标缓慢升高,但会随着强度的加大而降低;高原训练后,人体内的红细胞、血红蛋白、血球压积指标会呈现出一致性的变化,具有显著的升高.  相似文献

What Lies between the Religious and the Secular?: Education beyond the Human

The current age is characterised by many as secular, and a source of such a characterisation can be found in the Nietzschean claim that thoughts about there being some ultimate reality have to be jettisoned, and human existence and the world need to be embraced as they are. That claim is renewed by some secular thinkers who insist that education has to be reconceived in ways congenial to the new age. It is argued that central to their logic is the dichotomy between the religious and the secular or the otherworldly and the earthly, and that this dichotomy is simplistic as well as problematic. As an alternative to the ‘two worlds’ view, the ‘two aspects’ view is suggested, with an interpretation of reality that the noumenon––the non‐human––has to be taken in the negative sense. Against secularising the domain of education, it is indicated that there still remains a place for education to occupy between the two poles of religiousness and secularity.  相似文献

基于极化分解组合的SAR图像视觉优化和建筑物损毁评估

建筑物损毁评估对灾害应急监测具有重要意义。极化SAR图像蕴含丰富的地物信息，并且记录有目标地物的极化散射矩阵，可用于建筑物的损毁评估。针对完好和损毁建筑物两类目标的散射特征，利用Touzi分解散射角α_s1、去定向后Yamaguchi分解二次散射分量和Touzi分解散射对称度|τ₂|进行RGB彩色合成，对极化SAR图像进行视觉优化，进而利用单一时相SAR图像快速识别出不同损毁程度的建筑物区域。以2011年3月11日发生在日本东北部海域的地震为例，利用灾后的ALOS PALSAR全极化数据开展实验分析，并利用汶川地震RADARSAT-2图像对提出的方法进行验证。结果表明，通过对极化参量的组合不仅可以优化建筑物目标的视觉显示效果，同时可提高不同损毁程度建筑物区域识别度，从而大大降低灾害评估对于数据源的限制和要求。  相似文献
