"莫扎特效应"出现于20世纪90年代,自出现之日就引起了科学界、政界、教育界乃至商界的强烈兴趣,但也一直处于争论之中。至今,它的可靠性还没有得到确认。在科学界,认知心理学的最新实验研究和探讨表明,尚没有足够的证据表明它的可靠性。在教育界,它引发了音乐教育的价值问题,也应谨慎地对待。从音乐的本质来看,音乐是人类多样化的实践,也是人类内在的生命冲动和需求。因此,音乐教育的主要价值不在于为其他学科能力的发展奠定基础,而是呵护儿童的音乐灵性。  相似文献

Unpacking the Treatment Contrast in the Head Start Impact Study: To What Extent Does Assignment to Treatment Affect Quality of Care?

Attending high-quality early childhood care and education (ECCE) is associated with higher cognitive and social-emotional skills, especially for children growing up in poverty, but access to high-quality ECCE is limited. This study capitalizes on the random assignment design of the Head Start Impact Study to better understand whether the randomized offer to attend Head Start, a free comprehensive child development program for low-income and at-risk children, raises the quality of ECCE in which children enroll. Multinomial logistic regression was used to isolate the intent-to-treat impacts of random assignment to Head Start on ECCE quality from impacts on enrollment in formal ECCE. Results indicate that children randomly assigned to receive Head Start (treatment), compared to children in the control group, were more likely to enroll in high-quality and, to a lesser extent, low-quality ECCE. Treatment impacts were largest at the high end of the quality distribution, were driven by increased enrollment in Head Start, and differed for 3- and 4-year-olds. These results highlight the important role of Head Start in providing high-quality ECCE for low-income children.  相似文献

健康作为一种特殊的人力资本,既是人民福祉之本,又是社会生产力之基。习近平健康思想继承和发展了马克思主义促进人的全面发展思想,强化人在全面现代化进程中的核心地位,形成"以人民为中心、以健康为根本"的思想内核,明确了新时代健康促进的工作方针、发展路径、战略步骤、政治保证等重大问题。基于习近平健康思想,本文提出健康生产力理论,进一步体现以人民为中心的价值标准,实现社会主义的生产力标准和价值标准的高度统一。新时代要优先发展健康生产力,促进健康生产力从不公平到公平、从不充分到充分,这就要全面建设遵循人的生命周期的健康服务体系、促进基本医疗卫生制度公平可及、推进健康产业等非基本医疗卫生服务领域充分发展、全面提高健康管理现代化水平、积极完善全民医保制度建设。  相似文献

Research has shown that gender role development is socially constructed and learned from birth. In this study, the impact of child care and the interactions that take place there are examined, with a focus on gender behavior and stereotypes. Observation data and analysis are presented. Achieving holistic care for refugees: The experiences of educators and other stakeholders in Surrey and Greater Vancouver,Canada

In 2020, the global number of refugees reached record levels, pressuring asylum countries to determine more effective methods for facilitating integration. This article explores an array of stakeholder practices towards refugees in Surrey and Greater Vancouver, Canada. It is based on questionnaires and interviews that elicit the perceptions and struggles of 40 settlement workers, health and mental health professionals, Members of Parliament, educators, librarians, scholars and grassroots organisations, who work with refugees. The findings show that stakeholders often feel isolated, ‘working in silos’ and wasting time and money due to uncoordinated services and a lack of interagency communication. They feel it is also unreasonable to expect Government-Assisted Refugees (GARs) to learn English and complete job training in preparation for independent living within 1 year of support. Both refugee adults and children suffer from high levels of trauma, often compounded by interrupted or no schooling. Since education is essential to refugee success, I argue that teachers play a role in filling the gap, often uniquely positioned to form ongoing, safe and trusting relationships with refugee students and their families. For many teachers, it is an ethos of care, compassion and social justice acquired in teacher education programmes that increases refugee resilience, sense of belonging and wellbeing. This article identifies what new collaborations between teachers and other stakeholders might accomplish, including communication back to government policymakers. Recommendations encompass initiating online registries of services and low-cost housing in neighbourhoods where community schools and services are interlinked, possibly achieving holistic care for all refugees.  相似文献

This paper is based upon two empirical studies, which identify care‐giving responsibilities as a key mediator of mature students’ – a target group within the widening participation strategy – experiences of higher education. Employing a feminist lens on care, we identify a disjuncture between how students experience the challenges of negotiating care and study, and the narrow and economistic way care is addressed within higher education policy. We point to the broader recognition of care emerging within New Labour’s policies on the reconciliation of paid work and family life and argue that in the context of increasing expectations that learning is for life, care needs to be recognised in a broader form at the interface of both education and employment. Drawing on the notion of a ‘political ethics of care’, we conclude by identifying elements that should be included in a higher‐education ‘care culture’.  相似文献

纵观我国各部门法及相关司法解释和行政规章等方面关于上市公司担保行为的法律规制,其本意都是为了维护广大中小股东和担保权人的权益,保证交易安全。但是,由于立法技术不够成熟、司法实践经验不够丰富,加之缺乏相关措施配合,实践中的效果不尽如人意。为此,提出完善对上市公司担保行为规制的四点建议：一是对上市公司担保设定合理的限制条件;二是把握好股东权益保护和债权安全保护的平衡点;三是完善董事的善管义务;四是采取必要的反担保措施。  相似文献
