For its complexity, engineering construction schedule design is limited by various factors. Simulation-based engineering construction schedule takes critical path method （ CPM ） network as frame and calls complex cyclic operation network （CYCLONE） simulation model enclosed in advance for its simulation nodes. CYCLONE simulation model takes charge of simulating stochastic duration of activity and efficiency of resources, while CPM model performs project scheduling. This combination avoids the shortcomings of both models. Furthermore. geographic information system （ GIS ） technique is utilized to visualize the construction processes which are otherwise difficult to be understood by static results described. Application in practical project verifies the feasibility and advantage of the technique. 相似文献

The potential relationship between physical activity and endogenous pain modulatory capacity remains unclear. Therefore, the aim of the current study was to compare the pain modulatory responses of athletes and non-athletes. Conditioned pain modulation (CPM) was assessed in 15 athletes and 15 non-athletes at rest. Participation was restricted to pain-free males between 18 and 40 years of age. To measure CPM capacity, a sequential CPM testing protocol was implemented, whereby a test stimulus (pressure pain threshold [PPT]) was presented before and immediately after a conditioning stimulus (4-min cold-pressor test). Pain intensity ratings were obtained at 15-s intervals throughout the cold-pressor task using a numerical rating scale. Athletes demonstrated higher baseline PPTs compared to non-athletes (P = .03). Athletes also gave lower mean (P < .001) and maximum (P < .001) pain intensity ratings in response to the conditioning stimulus. The conditioning stimulus had a stronger inhibitory effect on the test stimulus in athletes, showing enhanced CPM in athletes compared to non-athletes (P < .05). This finding of enhanced CPM in athletes helps clarify previous mixed findings. Potential implications for exercise performance and injury are discussed. 相似文献

AbstractThe Tenth Regiment, a distinctly all-Malay regiment of the Malayan National Liberation Army (MNLA), was formed in Temerloh, Pahang, and it was Pahang that became its initial site of struggle. Although its key leaders, such as Abdullah C.D., Rashid Maidin, Suriani Abdullah and others, were not originally from Pahang, the majority among the original rank and file were sons and daughters of Pahang. By this account, there must surely be characteristics specific to the Temerloh district and Pahang that contributed to the birth of the Tenth Regiment, the establishment of its base, and its early struggle against the British in the said state. Moreover, two significant and related events preceded and precipitated the formation of the Tenth Regiment: the historic gathering at the All-Malaya School Camp at Temerloh and the emergence of a people's militia or peasant's front. Thus, these three subjects will be examined first under the header “Early beginnings” before we proceed to the account of the Tenth Regiment's struggle in greater detail. Subsequently, the history of the Tenth Regiment's liberation struggle will be expounded upon considering the following topics: (1) the birth of the Tenth Regiment; (2) its struggle in Pahang; (3) its struggle in Southern Thailand; and (4) the end of the struggle. 相似文献
