通过对南阳市园林绿地植物7~8月份诱虫灯下昆虫群落的调查,摸清了其常见的昆虫种类,结果表明：园林绿地植物灯下昆虫群落包括5个目,21科,50种;其中有害虫45种,害虫天敌4种和杂食性昆虫1种.同时,根据害虫的发生数量及对园林绿地植物的危害程度,从群落的角度分析了园林绿地植物害虫的优势种（类）,主要有暗黑鳃金龟、淡剑夜蛾、茶长卷蛾、斜纹夜蛾、土蝽等;从生态功能分类的角度把这些绿地害虫分为植食性昆虫、肉食性昆虫、传粉昆虫、杂食性昆虫4大类,其中这些害虫主要来自于鳞翅目、同翅目、直翅目、鞘翅目、半翅目五个目,为园林绿地植物在群落水平上进行综合治理提供了理论依据.  相似文献

开放教育资源运动正由注重资源共享逐渐转向注重开放学习,文章介绍了在线学习社区中用户的参与发生在两个层面:参与的"可视"层,可以有不同的参与模式;要素交互的"不可视"层,与自然界中发生的菌根快速传播的地下网络导致的蘑菇"仙女环"非常类似。这种多维度的要素交互影响着用户的参与意愿和参与行为。文章认为参与的"仙女环"模型为分析和发展网络社区提供了非常丰富的工具,对中国网络学习社区及精品课程的研究和发展有非常重要的意义。  相似文献   

A Process Approach to Community-Based Education: The People’s Free University of Saskatchewan

On the basis of insights provided by Whitehead and John Cobb, I show how the People’s Free University of Saskatchewan (PFU) is a working model of free, open, community-based education that embodies several characteristics of Whitehead’s philosophy of education. Formed in opposition to the growing commercialization at the original “people’s university,” (the University of Saskatchewan) the PFU has spawned distinctive ideals of its own. The PFU reflects Whitehead’s belief in the importance of shared knowledge fostered by community-based education, the value of abstract and practical knowledge, and the power of the imagination to establish a community of learners capable of acting freely together.  相似文献   

Building student belonging and engagement: insights into higher education students’ experiences of participating and learning together

Student belonging and engagement has received increased attention in the context of an expanding and more diverse higher education student population. Student retention is regarded as a priority with many universities augmenting their retention strategies to instil a sense of belonging. This article provides insights into first year Business Management students’ experiences of starting their degrees and retention interventions at a university in the South of England. It is based on findings from an ongoing study that applied Wenger's social theory of learning and adopted an appreciative inquiry approach to focus group interviewing to investigate students’ perceptions. Students developed a sense of belonging, constructed learner identities, made sense of their learning and gained confidence, but also experienced instances of tension and frustration that raise questions about the extent to which sociality practices within evolving communities of practice can address diverse engagement and identity development needs and mitigate disengagement.  相似文献   

Is students’ energy literacy related to their university’s position in a sustainability ranking?

Abstract

University rankings are increasingly important internationally, and in the UK include a sustainability ‘Green League’. However, there is little evidence about experiences of studying in ‘sustainable universities’. We report an empirical study at five universities in varied positions in the Green League, exploring students’ energy literacy, environmental attitudes and perceptions of their institution’s energy-saving efforts. Although the link to energy literacy is not clear, findings suggest that there are significant differences between students’ environmental attitudes at universities placed at different points in the league. In addition, students at higher ranked universities are more positive about their university’s energy-saving efforts, suggesting that these institutions may exhibit more overt manifestations of sustainability. This is important since students report being more likely to choose energy-conservation behaviours if there is visible representation of energy use. The study is the first to attempt a comparison between universities at different positions in a sustainability ranking.  相似文献

Deep Participation in Underserved Communities: A Quantitative Analysis of Hearken’s Model for Engagement Journalism

ABSTRACT

Hearken is a proprietary news engagement platform growing in popularity. Under the Hearken approach, audience members are invited to participate in the newsmaking process. Hearken strives to assist news organizations in providing local and hyperlocal content that meets audience needs and demands while preserving elements of the journalist’s role as gatekeeper. Hearken has also worked to help news organizations reach underrepresented populations with mixed results per its own anecdotal analyses. This study employs a quantitative content analysis comparing one year’s worth of coverage at four different local NPR affiliates in the United States to provide a breakdown of Hearken content versus traditional reporter-driven content in the following four categories: emphasis on hyperlocal coverage, story topic prevalence within local and hyperlocal coverage, emphasis on coverage of underrepresented communities, and story topic prevalence within coverage of underrepresented communities. Findings reveal listener-driven Hearken content favors hyperlocal news on lifestyle issues while reporter-driven stories emphasize state-level governance and politics as well as local crime. These indicate a stark contrast between the content audiences want and that which journalists tend to report. The nuanced normative implications, possibilities and limitations of Hearken’s model of “deep participation” are addressed in some detail.  相似文献
