本文尝试建立一种新设计的技术媒介远程教学模式理论分析框架。首先指出教育技术学和教育传播学对研究技术媒介的远程教学的理论指导意义。在分析比较人际面授教学与技术媒介教学的基础上,进一步将技术媒介教学划分成技术环境中的面授教学和技术媒介的远程教学两类,随后集中论述技术媒介的远程教学的各种模式：教学信息传输模式、远程教学交互模式、远程学习模式,以及远程教学与远程学习的时空分离模式。最后,提出并讨论新设计的技术媒介远程教学模式的理论分析框架。 相似文献

This paper will offer some insights into possible ways to optimise the blended learning environment based on experience with this modality of teaching at Arab Open University/Jordan branch and also by reflecting upon the results of several meta-analytical studies, which have shown blended learning environments to be more effective than their face to face and online only counterparts. Three key elements will be presented as important ways for improving the blended learning environment: forging genuine collaborative partnerships between institutions in terms of the team-writing of Open and Distance Learning (ODL) material, adopting a more theoretically based instructional approach, such as the cognitive apprenticeship (CA) model, which emphasises making thinking visible and developing a comprehensive understanding of blended education in order to help students achieve their educational goals. 相似文献

This article presents and discusses a class-based approach to more closely tie together reference and instruction services, with the goal of addressing shortcomings of both the traditional reference and instruction models. This project entailed the provision of individual feedback for all students in selected first-year seminar classes and senior seminar classes, in which the librarian was an essential component of the research process. The project's effectiveness was evaluated via surveys of students who received librarian feedback through written comments on annotated bibliographies or reference consultations. 相似文献

ABSTRACT Given the many changes in our students and their study and research practices, libraries are finding it necessary to seek new ways to reach these students. The Undergraduate Library at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign created a new model to do so. Librarian's Office Hours are a hybrid of reference and instructional services that fulfill the dual purposes of meeting the needs of term paper research counseling and library workshops. Due to the time commitment on the part of the librarian to schedule, prepare, and execute effective research consultations, it is important to continue to evaluate how these consultations impact student learning. The purpose of this investigation was to assess graduate students' perceptions of their learning as a result of working individually with a librarian in a research consultation. A librarian and a member of the teaching faculty collaborated to embed required research consultations with the librarian in two graduate classes. AbstractAs data services gain momentum in academic libraries, liaison librarians are expected to be part of the education force for data literacy. Nonetheless, due to the broad scope of data literacy, training librarians to improve data-related skills can be challenging. This article used consultation statistics to identify tools and resources employed to solve users’ data questions. The results offered insights into users’ data needs and provided librarians with a clear direction to further develop data skills in their assigned disciplines. The methodology used in this study can be replicated at other institutions to identify needs and to direct professional development. 相似文献
