从运动员诚信缺失事件研究的视角出发,通过梳理近年我国运动员诚信缺失事件得知:运动员诚信缺失事件涉及体育管理人员、教练员、运动员家人等多个群体;剖析诚信缺失事件的成因及其对体育事业的严重危害;并指出这种行为是属于践踏体育诚信的欺骗行为,是对体育精神亵渎,它不仅影响体育的公平竞赛原则,而且导致中国体育的形象受损.  相似文献

Abstract

This introductory article argues that practices of professional thinking and acting on the presence of the immigrant offer a privileged analytical prism through which to study how post-WWII European welfare nation-states have been shaped and crafted. As such, study of the formation of post-WWII welfare nation-states where one usually does not look for them is suggested: that is, beyond the bureaucratic logic imposed by the state itself. Consequently, a wedge is driven into the mundane professional practices embedded in the immigrant/welfare nation-state nexus, through which may be observed the very heterogeneous production of problems and solutions with immense effect on human lives, communities, and societies. These practices demonstrate the boundary work of the welfare nation-state that shapes it and gives shape to the construction and reconstruction of immigrant children and their families as problems and, thus, objects of integration and professional intervention. In this sense, the prism offers a new approach to writing histories of immigrant children’s education and the shaping and crafting of welfare nation-states that displaces both objects of study to professional practices of their making. In the first part of the article, the privileging of this analytical prism is substantiated historically and theoretically. In the second part, the four contributions constituting this themed issue are introduced. Finally there is a discussion of how the four contributions demonstrate the analytical prism’s cross-national relevance and historical sensitivity, adding new histories of how immigrant children’s education has been caught up in the immigrant/welfare nation-state nexus.  相似文献

This study explored suicide knowledge, experiences, attitudes, practices, and intervention skills of mental health professionals (n?=?52) working in counseling centers of Puerto Rican public and private universities. Intervention skills were examined using a Spanish version of the Suicide Intervention Response Inventory (SIRI-2; Neimeyer & Bonelle, 1997 Neimeyer, R. A. and Bonnelle, K. 1997. The Suicide Intervention Response Inventory: A revision and validation. Death Studies, 21: 5981. [Taylor & Francis Online], [Web of Science ®] [Google Scholar]). Results suggest inadequate screening practices, difficulty in exploring and assessing suicidal ideation/conduct and intent, and a lack of knowledge of risk factors. Results point to the need for further training in suicide screening and risk assessment as an early intervention strategy for prevention. The research context for this article is the difficulty being experienced by a number of school systems, especially in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia, in recruiting principals. In our discussion we draw on preliminary findings from ongoing research into the experiences of a cohort of aspiring primary and secondary school principals. Our data comprise the electronic journal (E‐journal) entries of the 21 aspirants. We characterize the E‐journal reflections as identity narratives in which the aspirants are able to explore a range of feelings, challenges and uncertainties associated with the possibility of future principal role incumbency. The significance of these E‐journalling narratives, therefore, is that they provide aspirants with an opportunity, through semi‐private reflection, to begin positioning themselves for leadership. For this reason we articulate the idea of ‘positioning space’, a supportive holding environment which facilitates the exploration of potential and possible selves and we explore some properties and protocols associated with occupancy of this space.  相似文献

The two major schemes for transliteration or roman- izalion of Chinese into English, Wade-Giles and Pinyin, are ex- amined. The conclusion is that bolh methods are about equally effec- tive. Abstract

Core competencies have long been established in the competitive world of business and industry. These tenants lend themselves to individualization and branding, being exclusionary tools by their very nature. So how do core competencies fit in the world of libraries and information centers, particularly when considering potential employees? The concept of individual capacity is a better fit for information fields, being more inclusive and reflective of diverse knowledge bases and skillsets that working in this field requires. Juxtaposing the two, core competencies and individual capacity, will help us re-focus our efforts on user-centered information work rather than business rhetoric and conformity.  相似文献
