| Abstract: | The translation of Chinese Neologism is a challenging job, which may affect the spread of Chinese culture across the world. A correct choice of translation strategy will surely be conducive to the accu-rate translation of the Chinese neologism. Domestication-based Strategies of Borrowing and Back-translation for English Translation of Chinese Neologism aims to move the writer towards the reader by using a transpar-ent and fluent style so as to minimize the strangeness of the target text for its readers and get the writer’s ideas across to his readers in an efficient manner. |
