| Abstract: | Many college English teachers and students find it a headache to improve students＇ English writing competence.This paper,based on the theory of cohesion and coherence,tries to make an account of its implications for the improvement of students＇ English writing competence.Hence,a series of measures are proposed to apply to the teaching of college English writing. |
