摘    要:如何提高大学生的英语写作能力,是困扰许多英语教师和学习者的棘手问题。文章立足于语篇的衔接与连贯理论,探讨其对提高大学生英语写作能力的指导意义,并提出将其运用到英语写作教学中的一系列措施。

Abstract:Many college English teachers and students find it a headache to improve students' English writing competence.This paper,based on the theory of cohesion and coherence,tries to make an account of its implications for the improvement of students' English writing competence.Hence,a series of measures are proposed to apply to the teaching of college English writing.
