| 摘 要： | 文化是语言的内涵，语言是文化的载体。文化差异对语言的表达和理解有很大的影响。本文通过实例从多个方面分析了英汉文化差异对喻体理解和选择的影响，指出文化因素在喻体选择和理解中的重要性。

| Abstract: | Culture is the content of language, and language is the carrier of culture. Cultural differences have a great influence on understanding and expression of language. The paper analyzes the influences of the cultural differences between Chinese and English on understanding and selection of vehicle in many respects by illustrations, and then points out the significance of cultural factors in understanding and selection of vehicle. |
