| 摘 要： | 自1980年《普通语言学教程》中译本出版以来,索绪尔的语言符号任意性假说一直备受国内语言学家的关注。对于该假说,众学者主要在两点上存在分歧,即:语言符号是具有任意性还是理据性;任意性是否是语言符号的第一原则。而对索绪尔语言符号任意性假说缺乏正确、全面的理解是引起争论的部分原因。

| Abstract: | Since the publication of Course in General Linguistics(Chinese version) in 1980,the hypothesis of the arbitrariness of linguistic signs put forward by F.de Saussure has attracted a lot of attention from Chinese linguists.There remains two major disagreements on the hypothesis among the Chinese scholars: whether linguistic signs are arbitrary or motivated and whether arbitrariness is the first principle of linguistic signs.The argument over the arbitrariness of linguistic signs is in part due to the lack of correct and comprehensive understanding of the hypothesis. |
