| 摘 要： | 新生代农民工的城市融入,是事关转型期中国城市化成败的核心问题之一。单纯依靠政府机构、社会组织和政策法规,仅能推动表层的社会融入;而要实现深层理念意识层面的社会融入,则离不开符号生产者和传播者———大众传媒发挥的社会整合功能。基于符号资本理论,通过对代表性城市媒体报道的文本解析,对大众传媒的话语符号生产及新生代农民工拥有符号资本的实际状况展开研究。在此基础上提出,大众传媒的符号生产机制与新生代农民工融入城市必需的符号资本之间存在紧密联系:新生代农民工符号资本的赤贫是其城市融入过程中遇到的重大符号障碍;大众传媒作为当代社会最重要的符号生产者,有必要通过提供信息平台、正名和扩大话语权等具体的符号救济途径,帮助新生代农民工提升符号资本,消除符号障碍,进而促进其融入城市社会。
