| Abstract: | A practical study has been made on the contributions of Jiangmen s four pillar industries to the city s social development and economic growth. An analysis has also been made of the difficulties facing the pillar industries in their development and of some industries that are likely to become pillar industries in the future. In addition, the author puts forward strategies and proposals for speeding up the development of such industries. |
