摘    要:科举制度作为我国古代选拔官员的考试制度,调动了古代社会人士的读书积极性,促进了中国社会流动的有效实施。它同时兼具正式组织和文化观念两种组织机制,提供了政教合一的制度基础,维护了古代社会的稳定。但在整个考试制度的施行过程中,其制度本身违背了选拔优秀人才的初衷,遭到了历代人士的质疑与批判。他们认为科举制度存在考试内容与选材标准的错位、考试标准与选才途径的悖论、科举选拔与人才培养异化、科举之“封建糟粕”的符号化等弊端,从而导致选才制度的僵化,造成真实人才的缺失。当下,我们应该辩证地、全面地看待科举制度,批判地继承与发展。

Abstract:The imperial examination system, as a tool for selecting officials in ancient times, mobilized the social enthusiasm for study and learning , and promoted the social mobility in China. It is characteristic of formal organization and cultural concept ion, providing an institutional basis for the unity of politics and religion, and maintaining the stability of ancient society. However, the system itself violated the original intention of selecting outstanding talents, during the implementation of the entire examination system, thus being questioned and criticized by the past generations of intellects . They believed that the imperial examination system has malpractices such as the dislocation of examination content s and selection standards, the paradox between examination standards and the selection modes , the alienation of imperial examination selection and talent training, and the symbolization of the “feudal dross” of imperial examinations, which led to the rigidity of the system and the lack of real talents. This study suggests that a dialectical and comprehensive view of the imperial examination system is needed for a critical inheritance and develop ment.
