| 摘 要： | 作为钦定的管理地方学务的专职官员,学政与科举制度之间具有重要联系。在角色认知上,朝廷始终将其视为整顿文风士习的重要一环,倡导学术风气和使士人有廉耻心,也是一些学政的目标。由于受入学学额的限制,学政主持的考试就显得比较重要。他通过试题的拟定来宣传或倡导某种学术风气,并采取措施来维护考试纪律。除养廉银外,学政一般都有不少额外收入。一些学政借助考试权柄聚敛财富,败坏了学政的总体形象。

| Abstract: | As the official in charge of the provincial education designated by the emperor,"xuezheng"(the Provincial education commissioner)was of importance in the imperial examination system and was expected by the court to play an active role in improving the academic atmosphere and the qualities of intellectuals.Because of the restrictions on the enrollment quota,the examination held by "Xuezheng" was of significance.He could promote or advocate a certain academic atmosphere,and take measures to safeguard the examination discipline by choosing examination questions.Generally speaking beside the honesty-nourishing money given by the government he had a large amount of extra income.Some "xuezhengs" got a lot of money through examinations and thus ruined the image of "xuezheng". |
