美国PDS政策述评

摘    要:美国在20世纪80年代以后逐步形成了“建立PDS(Professional Development Schools,专业发展学校)促进教师专业发展的政策”(简称PDS政策)。一些有影响的政策制定部门,例如霍姆期小组、美国教师教育鉴定委员会、全国教学和未来委员、美国教育部会等都就PDS的有关问题制定了相应政策。这些政策的颁布和实施,有效地促进了教师专业发展,促进了教师专业发展的一体化、终身化,促进了大学与中小学的联合,强化了中小学促进教师专业发展的功能,推动了积极探索实现教师专业发展途径的尝试。

Abstract:The Policy of Establishing PDS(Professional Development Schoo l )for Promoting Professional Development of Teachers"has been gradually formed in America after1980's.Some influential policy making department,such a s Holmes Group,The National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education,The National Commission on Teaching and America's Future,Department of Education of America and so on,all made a responding policy for the related issues.The promulgation and implementation of those policies promote effectively the profes sional development of teachers,the integration and whole life of professional development of teachers and the combination university with primary school and middle school,and intensify the function of promoting professional development of teachers of primary school and middle school and push-forward the attempt of the paths of the actively exploring and realizing professional development o f teachers.
