| Abstract: | Conspectus developed by the Research Libraries Group is a collection management tool,playing important roles in making collection development policy and in negotiating cooperation for collection development. The paper expounds the development background of the Conspectus Method,its definition and its use process in foreign countries. At last,The paper summarizes the developments of the Conspectus. On the one hand,the expansion of its connotations and formats,on the other hand,collection analysis software has been developed. |
