摘    要:语言和思维有着密切的关系.语言是工具,思维是产品.思维是人们反映客观事物的一种抽象概括能力,它是通过语言来进行的.人在思维过程中借助语言进行比较、分析、综合、概括、推理和判断.因此,从语言与思维的关系、英语与汉语以及两种民族思维模式的相似之处方面,探讨语言思维在第二语言习得中的作用,目的是充分发挥主观能动性,尽量使母语成为促进二语习得的因素.
