| 摘 要： | 密尔既是一个功利主义者,更是一个自由主义者。他在功利与自由之间设置了一个很好的张力,使二者并行不悖。通过对密尔为正义、自由思想提供的功利式的辩护的论述,进而论证这种辩护为什么是成功的,以及对构建和谐社会的启示。

| Abstract: | Mill is a utilitarian and he is also a liberalist.He sets a good tension between utility and liberty,which enables the two to coexist without going against one another.This paper mainly analyzes how Mill advocates justice and liberty in a utilitarian way and why his advocacy is successful,and what revelation it gives us in constructing a harmonious society. |
