多元智能理论对大学英语教学的启示

摘    要:多元智能理论为大学英语教学的改革提供了可以借鉴的理论依据。大学英语教学改革要树立新的思路.要改变传统的智能观,要将目标定位在学生智能的培养和开发上,以发展学生的多种智能为根本目的,以此来推动我国大学外语教育的健康发展。本文从多元智能理论的实质分析入手,从发展的视角论证了多元智能理论应用于大学英语教学的可行性,旨在对大学英语教学的改革有所启示。

Abstract:The theory of Multiple Intelligences provides helpful theoretical basis for college English teaching.The reform calls for new ideas,while the traditional view of intelligence must be improved.The purpose of teaching should be oriented to the cultivation and development of students' intelligences,so as to promote our college English education as a whole.This article, starting with core of Multiple Intelligences,discusses from a developing angle the possibility of applying the theory to college English teaching for the purpose of some enlightenment to the reform of English teaching.
