| 摘 要： | 随着远程教育的不断发展，基于Internet的网络教育居于主导地位。下一代网络技术(IPv6)与现存的IPv4技术相比．提供了更多的地址空间、更快的网络速度、更加安全的安全性能以及更加灵恬的扩展性，它必将促进远程教育的纵深发展。本文在介绍IPv6技术的基础上，探讨其对远程教育的深远影响。
