| 摘 要： | 关联理论认为语言交际是一个明示——推理的过程,而关联翻译理论把关联理论与翻译结合起来认为翻译同样是明示——推理交际。而要做到忠实原交际翻译,对译者来说,必须做到采取和原作者一样的信息意图和交际意图,也就是同样的显现设想、互显设想的明示方式,因此提出了明示——推理的翻译交际与推理空间等距原则。该文主要是讨论推理空间等距原则在林语堂的作品《中国的智慧》中的体现。

| Abstract: | The relevance theory defines the verbal communication as an ostensive-inferential process, and so is the theory of the relevance and translation, which believes translation is also an ostensive-inferential communication process. To be faithful to the original communication, the translator must have the same informative and communicative intention as the original author, that is, the same assumption of mutual manifest. Therefore, the principle of ostensive-inferential translation communication and equal inferential space is put forward. This paper is to discuss the how the principle of equal inferential space manifested in the Wisdom of China edited by Lin Yutang. |
