对英语口译教学和口译实践的思考

摘    要:针对口译与笔译的不同要求,提出教师应利用有限的教学资源,通过营造口译氛围并辅之以正确的评估手段,帮助学生完成向一个合格译员转变的心理准备过程;结合亲身教学和口译实践的经历,对口译教学和口译人员的培养提出一些设想。

Abstract:Interpretation differs from translation. A teacher should take advantage of the limited resources to encourage his students to fulfill the preparation as qualified interpreters by means of creating interpreting environment and necessary evaluations for their performance. In line with the author's personal experience in teaching and practice in the field of interpretation, some suggestions as to how to improve the teaching and cultivation of qualified interpreters are put forward so as to stir up the discussion on the relevant topic among those who have shared the common interests.
