| Abstract: | During the market economic times, utilitarianism has become the main theory of philosophy. As the dominant ethos, utilitarianism must have put a significant impact on the outlook on value of life. Why has the Utilitarianism become the central directed theory under market economy? What is the value of life? How to override its negative effects and to exalt its active aspects, and then to establish a proper outlook on value of life which can keep accordance with the prevalent situation is worth paying special attention to. This article is trying to research and answer these questions. |
