| Abstract: | Over 60 years after the establishment of the People’s Republic of China the research on basic theory of library science has realized the important breakthroughs and progress.This article reviews the basic theory of library science over 60 years of New China in main aspects : the study object,system structure,theoretical basis,research methods,property of library and nature of subject are summarized. |
