摘    要:英文歌曲辅助大学英语教学始终处于一个“叫座不叫好”的尴尬地位。文章从开设的选修课“英文歌曲文化赏析”课程准备期的研究成果以及授课期的教学体验出发,尝试从课程定位、课程内容与结构以及教学三方面来探讨英文歌曲与大学英语通识教育的最佳结合方式,以期达到为英文歌曲正名和为同类课程开发与教学提供经验的目的。

Abstract:Although popular among students, English songs are not well- accepted by most English teachers as a main content of English class. Based on the research outcome and teaching experience during the course preparation and teaching period, this paper attempts to explore the best way of combining English songs and ELE, so as to argue for the good teaching results of English songs and offer reference for similar course development and teaching.
