美育之应对时症的中西比较

摘    要:中华文化体现了实践理性的高度发展,而理论理性则发展不足;西方文化表现出理论理性的强权统治,而实践理性又处于弱势地位。因此,在借鉴西方美育理论成果时,必须应对我国的时症,绝不能一味照搬;在继承传统的美育思想时,要清醒地认识其不足,更不能因循守旧。培养创新型人才是有赖于人的理论理性发展的,故而促进理论理性的发展是我国当今美育责无旁贷的任务。

Abstract:The Chinese culture reflects a highly developed practical reason but an under-developed theoretical reason.The Western culture displays the fact that the theoretical reason occupies a dominant position and the practical reason occupies a weak position.Therefore when we try to draw lessons from Western aesthetic education,we must consider our particular time infirmities and never to copy Western ways without discrimination.In carrying on our tradition of aesthetic education,we should clearly see its insufficiency and should not stick to old ways.To develop people with innovative ability depends on the development of their theoretical reason.Therefore,the task of our aesthetic education is to promote such a development.
