建构主义语境下的大学英语教学

摘    要:建构主义理论强调以学生为主、教师为辅的教学模式,注重培养学生自主学习的能力,建议教师创设情境,进行交互式教学,帮助学生完成知识和意义的建构。这些理论对当前外语教学实践和改革有着积极的启发作用。文章旨在阐述建构主义理论的科学性,结合教学实践,指出建构主义理论指导作用,为推进大学英语教学改革和发展提供新的思路。

Abstract:The theory of Constructivism stresses a teaching model in which students play the pnmary role while the teacher plays a secondary role. It gives a high priority to developing students' independent learning capabilities, and suggests that teachers create scenarios for interactive teaching to help students complete knowledge and meaning construction. This theory is highly significant for guiding China's current teaching practice and reform. This paper aims to elucidate the scientific nature of the theory of Constructivism and its role in guiding teaching practice, there-by providing a new perspective on college English teaching in China.
