| 摘 要： | 从历时的角度。对比大学英语和对外汉语教学大纲／要求、学习者、教师和教学方法的异同，探究两者可互相借鉴的地方，并从语言和文化关系的角度分析两者的发展和趋势，进而提出：1）目前对外汉语教学的战略意义要远大于大学英语的深化；2）改革目前大学英语考试内容，增加考察汉语和中国文化部分，遏制母语书面语遗忘症势头，培养学习者用英语表达中国文化的能力，最终提升我国文化“软实力”。
