| Abstract: | Schemata play a significant role in English comprehension.Efficiently activating students' schemata help to improve their listening comprehension.This article introduces the main content of "schemata theory" and the understanding of listening comprehension.It also makes some suggestions for employing schemata theory in English teaching. |
