摘    要:通过对大学英语课堂教学实际情况、学生对交际语言教学与传统语言教学的态度及对语言学习的总体看法等进行调查,发现目前大学英语课堂教学正逐步实现从传统教学模式向交际教学模式的转变;绝大多数学生都赞成以意义为主的英语课堂教学,普遍认为语言教学应该以交际为中心,渴望英语课堂教学应具有更丰富的教学形式和语言交际实践环节;高分组与低分组学生在英语学习观念上存在一定的差异。

Abstract:Based on a questionnaire and some interviews,this paper explores the actual practice of Communicative Language Teaching(CLT) in College English classroom as well as the respective attitudes the students take towards CLT and the traditional language teaching.In addition,the overall language learning beliefs of the students are also examined.The results show: 1) Most of the College English teaching at present is shifting from the traditional teaching method to the communicative method.2) Most of the students favor the meaning-based language teaching,holding the view that language teaching should be communication-focused,and eagerly expecting the diversity of teaching approaches and variety of language practices in the classroom.3) High-score students and low-score students in CET4 are found to be significantly different from each other in some language learning beliefs.
